Good: you can install Kodi and it will work well for streaming. Has a IR remote so no need to fuss with Wake on Lan etc.Bad: windows pro cannot be freshly installed in this machine. If you use a Windows user name it will be locked at the main screen Everytime you log in. This cannot be remove even with registry edits. IR remote must be pretty much dead in center of line of sight to work.Ugly: square black box , bad countersunk screws that get easily stripped. Do not remove the screws in middle since they are for heat sink actually. HAL like red light when powered off glares all night long no way to turn it down like other products like Google WiFi.

I purchased this to run my telescope and observatory. I installed the drivers which amounted to 900MB. Almost immediately Windows started barking that the version of Windows is End-of-Service and that I needed updates. The very first update was too big to fit on the drive BEFORE it even started to update. Kept prompting me to clear stuff on basically a brand new installation of Windows 10. Right now, there is nothing left to delete.. still I could not even install the very first update.Azule's response was to tell me to reinstall the OS to my M.2 drive. So, as purchased, this fanless computer is not workable for anything other than to leave the OS vulnerable to hacks and viruses and browse the internet on a browser that cannot be updated. Don't plan on installing anything on it. OR plan on purchasing an additional M.2 drive and go through the whole process of learning how to create bootable USB drives and partitions, etc.They did send me a Windows10 bootable which did all the work for me including drive letter assignment. After a couple nights of finagling, I got the Byte3 to boot from the M2. (suggestions make the bootable USB a USB 3 otherwise the installation is quite slow).

once I got the image cloned from the existing memory drive to the ssd I installed I was off. The remote control...I have not used...but the machine works great and the ssd install ability is a huge difference...you can install anything and windows can update at will...32gig is tight to get updates and any install work done.

small and fan less is a plus. As far as speed goes , It is lacking bad.As for running Any version of Windows , It is horrible! Linux may run at an acceptable level.

Very compact, love it! Very easy to setup and use!

Easy setup. Do recommend Cat 6 cable if doing streaming at some distance to wifi source.

Great little mini pc

Works great for the specs it has, but I've found that it (the cheapest model) chugs a long with anything more than one tab in chrome + an antivirus running, I would have bought the step up if I knew that but as is it's a great little machine.
