Cosy mystery
I read the first two books in this series and liked them, so I ordered 3 and 4. It is entertaining, and I would call it a cozy mystery.

Enough
I had been reading this series in order, but this one was finally too much. A supposedly blue blooded woman has sex in a phone booth? Give me a break! I rather doubt that even a tramp or professional working lady would do that. And afterwards, her lover looks at her and ask her if she feels better??? I did not finish this book and will not be reading any more of these. I am all for blue blooded ladies having a rocking good sex life, and we are told how blue blooded these ladies are, and how good their sex lives are, but a phone booth while a party is going on around them???

Another Great Blackbird Sisters' Mystery!
"Have Your Cake and Kill Him Too" is Nancy Martin's latest adventure in the lives of society columnist - Nora Blackbird and her rather eccentric siblings. As usual, this latest effort is right on target when readers learn that Nora's vintage couture (handed down from Grandmama) is fitting rather snuggly. Nora is pregnant!Of course this comes at a rather inopportune time since she has not only split with Mick, but has been asked to model nude for Libby's calendar - designed for philanthropic purposes, of course! This doesn't stop Nora from investigating when there is murder and mayhem surrounding the latest nightclub called "Cupcakes." (Think "Hooters") The end result is a great mystery that will leave you wanting more of the Blackbird Sisters.

They are really funny but the last book left me wondering what happened ...
While browsing I found Books 5 and read both of them immediately. Couldn't wait to get my hands on more. Bought a few more until I had all 10 books. They are really funny but the last book left me wondering what happened next? On to Amazon and I purchased a preqel and 2 novellas. Would recommend to one and all. This review is th same for all 10 books.

Another Great Blackbird Mystery
I thoroughly enjoy all the Nora Blackbird stories, with their Philedelphia high society intrigues and especially Nora's fabulous vintage wardrobe! While they are certainly light fluff, they are fun and breezy and always introduce us to some unique characters. My only quibble is that I think it's time for Nora and Michael to make up their minds, once and for all, about being together or not. They seem to have the same old arguments about Mick's past and his ties with his crime family. It was fertile ground the first, second or even third time, but by now they're just starting to seem too wishy-washy to keep my interest. Still, even with that minor caveat, I love the chemistry between them and the way Nancy Martin crafts their dialogue. Keep 'em coming, Ms. Martin!

A good cozy!
All the Blackbird Sisters Mysteries are easy to read, well written books. I love Nora, but her sisters are hilarious. How she deals with the craziness in her life brings humor and even a little perspective and wisdom into the stories. And it's not all laughs and silliness, either. There are some times when Nora's compassion for others brings her a sadness that you can really feel. All together, well-written and completely enjoyable.

The book itself was fun to read
The book came on time and was well packed. The book itself was fun to read, as were some others in the same series. Thanks.

Eigentlich 4,5
