Does Rubbermaid (or any other manufacturer) make a head for this with brass bristles? I want to use it on metal (like garden tools or grill grates).

Wrong tool for that. Get a drill and those metal brush attachments.

The bornku electric spin scrubber seems versatile for cleaning tasks. anyone with experience using it for larger areas?

It doesn’t work very well even on smaller jobs, I tried cleaning the grout of my kitchen floor. Very labor intensive and the result was below average. I got better results using a big brush and my own elbow strength

Is this really worth buying?...better than using a good bristle brush and scrubbing floor tile myself?

Yes, better than a tooth brush particularly for corners. My tooth brush doesn't reach into a corner and if it does I can only stroke back and forth. This tool is ideal for the corners because of the brush angle, forward facing instead of downward , and because it oscillates instead of strokes. I have a coffee maker with a rectangular hopper for the coffee grounds. This brush is the only thing that will reach 6 inches inside and clean the corners. I save all my old tooth brushes, and shape them on an electric sander or form them with heat for various jobs. None of them reach the corners like this electric one

did your rubbermaid reveal power scubber slow down when using?

my brand new one stopped working after about 3 hours of using...tried new batteries - still doesn't work - help! loved it while it was working!

Perfeito

Essas escovas limpam muito bem. Tem uma boa potência. Mas tem que tomar cuidado, pois quando está limpando espirra sujeira pra todo lado.

Game changer!

This little scrubber is amazing. Cleaned years of dirt/rust on grout in minutes. Easy to get into tight spots. Wish I had got this years ago! And best of all, it's powered by four normal AA batteries (included), so there's no reliance on a built-in battery that would fail in time.
