Works great in Spain with the charger that came with my U.S. Macbook Pro. As other reviews mentioned, it is a tight fit to get it on/off. Apple's power convertor is compatible with EU power specs (50HZ, 220V), so I saved some money by buying this cord to fit the stock charger.

This EU extension wall cord, designed for MacBook power adapters, does exactly what it's supposed to. It's a good quality replacement, and most importantly, it's significantly cheaper than purchasing a replacement directly from Apple. It provides a reliable connection and fits perfectly. If you need a replacement EU cord for your MacBook power adapter, this is a great, cost-effective option.

Fit is not 100% perfect with Apple's charger but it's fully functional, colour is slightly darker and cooler, cable is thick enough to pass enough current and last for long time, ground contact also works!

For a recent trip abroad I needed a cord for my MacBook. This item works great and allows me to "work from home" while at a place that uses European-style plugs.

Just got back from 3 weeks in Europe and this worked perfectly. This swapped out with the US cord easily and with the macbook plugged in, I had multiple other ports for USB C charging. Worth it.

Works well but can be challenging to remove from the Mac power adapter. I've used this extension EU cord in Belgium and France with no problems. It was very tough to get out of my 2012 MacBook Pro power adapter, so much so that I was worried I'd ruined the original power adapter. I recently returned to Europe with a new 2017 MacBook Pro and it is much easier to remove from that power adapter. It's been over a year since I bought it and it still works well. Definitely worth the purchase as it does what it's supposed to but it can be tough to remove from the Mac power adapter depending on which model laptop you have.

Purchased as a relatively inexpensive solution to the alternative of having to constantly use annoying power socket adapters during a lengthy work assignment in Indonesia (to use in place of the Australian cable received when I bought my MacBook Pro originally). Much more compact plus eliminates risk of arcing due to adapter + plug + cable leading to pulling away partly from the power socket over time.

The standard Mac power adapter has a fatal flaw: it is almost guaranteed to fall out of a wall socket. And don't even think about using it on a plane. Adapters make it even worse. This is the European version of the reliable way to plug in your Mac. It works well.
