Works great for castor oil packs and white wool flannel is supposed to be the best. I like the size, it can be used for a large area with my extra long heating pad or folded for a smaller area. I keep it in the fridge between uses and add a bit more oil if needed. It does not itch, I wondered if it would.

The flannel cloth came early and I'm so happy it did as I'm eager to get started with applying Castro Oil Packs to lose belly fat. That's right, belly fat. From what I've read, most people use the packs to detox the liver. I suppose I will try that, too. But for right now I need to lose inches around the middle. If it works, I'll be sure to post the results here. The cloth arrived undamaged, in a zip lock bag, in a bubble manila envelope. The front label says: Wool Flannel, 100% White Wool flannel for use in Castor Oil Packs. Contains no synthetics; Extra weave; Reusable; and, complete instructions. Large size, Approximately 18 in x 24 in. The back side has the directions for preparing and applying the Castor Oil pack/s. The only drawback, if you want to call it one, is the need to keep the clear back of label in package. Otherwise you can't read the directions because they are imprinted on the plastic. I forgot to mention what the cloth looks like. It's a bone colored, a very nice weight, and soft to the touch. The seams are unfinished but that is okay. I didn't think they would be hemmed. After all, you want this cloth to be as smooth and comfortable as possible when its loaded with Castor Oil and clinging to your abdomen or other body parts. If it bothers some people you can always run a stitch along the four sides. I also received the book, "The Oil That Heals, A Physician's Successes With Castor Oil Treatments" by William A. McGarey, M.D. You can find the book here at Amazon. I only thumbed through it a little bit but it looks to be informative: an easy read in simple language that I can understand.

I use castor oil packs to reduce inflammation and detoxification. I usually place it over my entire abdomen. This is high quality, nice thick wool flannel and exactly what I wanted. I had a smaller one that I got in a kit from a natural practitioner I saw, and I like the larger size better.

This is a very nice thick piece of wool. It soaks up the oil perfectly without oozing everywhere. The problem I had is that I have sensitive skin, and the wool gave me a rash. It is not the wool flannel's fault -- but the fact remains that I can't use it for the castor oil pack as it makes matter worse rather than better. It immediately started itching and there was a red rash afterwards. I tried it twice. Again, not the wool's fault, I'm just very sensitive. I purchased cotton cheesecloth; it is a little thin, but it is working well and no rash.

I ordered this to make castor oil packs to unblock my fallopian tubes. It's hard to find wool flannel. I had wool flannel for a castor oil pack that my ayurvedic therapist gave me, but my dog tore it up before I could use it lol. I looked on Amazon and this one popped up first and I happened to choose it because it was big enough so that if I needed to cut it I could, it was inexpensive, and the castor oil I have is from this same company. It came quick and was a great size, I didn't want to cut it, so I just folded it and the castor oil still absorbed through it just fine! I love how much space it covers on me too. If I ever need anymore, I will definitely order from here again!

I fold this in half length wise and put on my liver while soaked with castor oil. Wrap saran wrap on it, then relax with a heating pad on medium for one hour. I do this 3x week. This has eliminated some spasming I was getting from my liver. The size doesn't quite wrap around all the way in my back but I'm quite large. It would cover my entire abdomen without folding. Once I sense my liver is much better I'll go that route. I have an easy routine down on this, with granddaughter's help on the saran wrap. I may try a garbage bag.

Good size/thickness, arrived on time, a bit pricey. I've had wool clothing before but possibly a blend so I wasn't concerned about it being uncomfortable. Hand washed & air dried before use. As soon as I put this on my abdomen the itching/scratchiness didn't stop until I took it off. If you have sensitive skin, you might want to consider something else. Guess I'll toss it in the donation pile, since I have no use for it.

I bought this to make castor oil packs. It came quickly and is a quality item. This size was plenty big enough to cut in half.
