The first time I tried one I had no idea just how strong these are I had to take it out of my mouth - half a piece is more than enough. I like that their taste lasts a long time and there isn't that sudden drop in flavor that you get with other gums when it suddenly gives you the "I have to get this gum out of my mouth" feeling. They are great for dry mouth as well as bad breath, as they do make your mouth water. I keep some by the bed in case I wake up in the night with a ghastly dry mouth.

Mint packs a punch, but doesn't last very long. After a 15 minute chew, the flavor is completely gone. Still good while it lasted. The mint flavoring pairs well with all the fruit flavors too.

The gum delivers on the promise of a quite powerful gum. After you "get" your friends and family, the love affair dies.The gum does not keep it's flavor for more than 5 seconds. Some of the flavors have a chemical/funky taste. If you don't chew it all within a couple of weeks the flavor gets more funky. Mango is especially vulgar (and I love mango).Considering the price, I would label the gum as a rip off. You're paying for the first reaction of an explosive gum... which fizzles miserably. If you feel the urge, I advise you buy one bag of the most "explosive" and not waste any more cash.

i love the strong blast you get for the first minute or two when you start chewing a piece. it really opens your sinuses and cools your throat. great flavors and very long lasting flavor. i would love to see a few other flavors, like cherry, raspberry, and cinnamon! the only thing i don’t love about the gum is that the zipper bags can be difficult to open. a different type of container would be nice, but i guess the bags are the best way to make the product compact and mobile. i will say Grenades has made all other gum disappointing to me. Grenades is the best.

**** UPDATE*** I got a response from Grenade Gum customer service which was incredibly passive aggressive and condescending. As a business owner, I cant imagine doing business this way.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I bought the sampler pack thinking that the mint flavors would be extremely minty, the fruit flavors would be extremely fruity, and the sour flavors extremely sour.The only ones that arent mint are the sour, and thw flavor lasts 30 seconds, then the gum turns to hard rubber and becoms unchewable.The "fruit" flavors are actually mint and stronger than the actual mint, and there is barely a flavor after for 30 seconds.A waste of $40. Nowhere in the pics or the description does it say that the fruit is mint flavored. Deceptive advertising.
