We have used this product for many years and are extremely pleased with the treatment and the pads for our Piano Humidifier.

Necessary treatment for tap water
Sometimes I use this with tap water and sometimes with distilled water. With tap water I notice it foams up a bit, so it must be doing something to treat the hardness of the water. My piano tuner seems surprised with how long the humidifier pads look good.
