How do they compare to Palomino 602 in darkness of the line and the lasting of sharp tip?

I am not a professional artist, merely a hobbyist, and have never used the Palomino 602.  That being said, I wanted to try the uni-ball because they are recommended by a French graphite artist whose work I admire.  These uni-ball pencils are quite pleasurable to use, the dark end of the spectrum (2B up to 10B), are very dark and sharp, do not smudge easily, but take to blending the smoothest I have ever used.  The light end must have a very high clay content - they are very light and useful for watercolor underdrawings, but I don't like them quite as well.  Hope that helps!

Question 2

Only one picture says 2B, rest say HB, mistake?

It seems to be a mistake. The pencils I got all say 2B. Apparently, the HB designation is used outside the US, so perhaps all the pictures except the first are of the Japanese versions of the same pencils. It seems that there is no absolute standard, so it may be that HB in Japan is the same pencils they sell as 2B in the U.S.

Please tell me what would the equivalent hardness for a set of these mitsubishis that would be similar to the prismacolor ebony?

Are the pencils diamond infused?

I kind of doubt it. Diamond infused lead is usually used in mechanical pencils. So, they are made of graphite and clay. Almost no scratchiness from large particles of clay mixed in as cheaper pencils tend to have. Very good quality pencils.
