Can this mold be used for a trifold mirror on a vintage vanity? I’m trying to find something to put a mold around my mirror so I can add appliqués. A.

I found this flexible molding ideal for trimming the side edges of a rounded kitchen island counter I had topped with marble. It's a fairly stiff, but bendable dense rubbery material and is 1/2 moon shaped on top and flat on the bottom (as pictured). Whether it would work for your trifold mirror, I can't say. It's quite durable and easy to fit and sand, but I don't think would be a good choice if your mirror is moved constantly. You can varnish it, but I left it the creme color it came in so I don't know how well it takes stain. It could be secured with tacks or an appropriate adhesive.
