For the price it’s OK.
As a home garage user, it will work for my occasional bearing, gear and seal jobs but IMO it’s lacking for the professional - but it does work. I got this one as opposed to the Harbor Freight style (I’m cheap).Pros:Cost, Gauge, Self-returning cylinder that you can move latterly (unlike the jack style).Despite its shortcomings I am still ahead if I had to build it myself (time mostly).Cons:Came in three boxes, two weeks apart, the cardboard was destroyed and it was leaking hardware - allot was missing. No instructions (would have been nice but not required). Not perfectly square, general quality is what you'd expect (not great).Dimensions don’t take into account the hose so if you’re short on space and plan on putting it up against the wall you’ll need to drill a few extra holes for the pump mount to move it back (or a 90deg hose fitting).Tips:One thing that is not obvious is the bleed screw on the pump reservoir – it needs to be loose during operation or your stroke and PSI will be greatly limited (creates vacuum). I mounted mine at an angle so the screw is the highest point of the cylinder so the pump end is always in fluid – this works much better.[Assemble- bleed air out the top with gauge off- add oil to reservoir].I’ll be grinding some of the support pin holes of the movable bed to square it up.I'll be lubing everything to avoid rust (living covered outside).

NOT a 20 ton press.
I have something pretty hefty to bend. 20 tons would do it but the bottom draces failed and bent at 11.5 tons. so after i replaced them with double the amount of braces. just as what i needed to bend started to move, the top beams bent out of shape at 15.5 tons. buy the 50 ton and maybe you will get 20 out of it if its from this manufacturer.

You get what you pay for
OK so it's made in CHINA. don't expect it to be anything more than what it is. Fit and finish is not the greatest and does not come with instructions. If you are buying this 20 ton press you should be able to figure it out how to assemble it on your own. Some holes don't line up so need a little file work to make it fit.It did come in three boxes on separate days from three different cities. Makes no sense as the items were mixed and did not seem to be like items. Anyway, it was missing some hardware (nuts and washers) You should have these laying around the shop or a quick trip to the hardware store. Not a big deal for me either way. Yes, it is metric or you can replace all of the bolts with American SAE fasteners. The channels for the press plate are just though bolted and nothing to keep the spacing. I made a couple 4" long spacers out of 3/4" pipe. This keeps the spacing and you can tighten the bolts holding it together. I don't know if it was supposed to come with these and they fell out of the box or not.Would I buy again, maybe not. Would I recommend it, Maybe. You decide what you want and how much to pay. Will it last.. Probably not but will do the job while it does last.Once assemble and fluid added it does work as intended.

junk
bolt holes did not line up with ram cylinder. poorly packaged. Gage was damaged, Hole in box screws fell out. Material not secured and was flying around in box and damaged gage. Cheap piece of junk. Spent 4 hour making details to reinforce this toy.

Made in China, poorly packaged, parts missing. Seller did offer a resolution.
Made in China, so expect the usual. Cheap cardboard packaging destroyed and covered in packing tape, internal packaging non-existent or minimal. No instructions. Most of the bolts, nuts and washers were missing. Finish scratched. No instructions. Some of the parts had obvious mistakes repaired and repainted. Cost $45 in hardware from local hardware store to assemble. Load bearing components seem sturdy enough and the mechanism works. Will be fine for hobby/occasional and non critical use. Seller refunded the cost of hardware I had to purchase, so that’s a positive. Thumbs up for that.
