If no, you may want to skip this necklace...I bought this necklace to color-match a handmade iron pendant that I wanted to wear against my skin. It looks great and feels well-made and sturdy, but it is NOT made for cohabiting areas where hair connects to your body. If you intend on wearing this over clothing (visible to the world), then it's definitely a 5-star piece. Don't expect to maintain comfort when hiding it away under clothing, though.

This necklace got caught on my shirt fabric and pulled out threads on my chiffon and other blouses of similar fabric. Beware!

Very nice chain for my project

I had never seen a black chain like this before, but it is just perfect with an antique Crucifix I bought from Etsy. The color of the Crucifix is so unusual, neither gold, silver or brass/bronze would match it.
