Very cute adventure story starring an out of work actor. Read this after re-reading Tuck Everlasting and found this story far superior. Mysterious but light. Love the traveling actor and the little boy discovering Goody Hall.

Great book, Natalie Babbitt's books are entertaining and educational.

Babbitt did it again! Another of her books that can entertain children and adults alike. Ethics come up in almost all of her books - just there, not preachy or judgmental. It's up to you to decide . . .

Love her books. Didn't know she wrote anything besides Tuck Everlasting. She's an excellent writer!

takes until the 4th chapter to really understand, but a great read!

We love Natalie Babbitt's stories. I have read them aloud to my children, and they have read them on their own as well. The stories are great for young and old alike. My children are higher level readers for their age, so I am always looking for books that challenge them as readers, but are still appropriate for an 8 or 9 year old. Ms. Babbitt's books are wonderful! Thanks Amazon!
