Hisencn 7421 12 Inch Cast Iron Griddle for Weber Original Kettle 22 1/2

Fits my 4 burner charbroil grill perfectly. Very heavy and well made. Be careful when seasoning; just the smallest of oil is needed. This thing gets pretty hot quickly. I can get it up to over 500 F with no problem. Did smash burgers first thing and they only took about 2-3 minutes. Crispy and tasty! I recommend using avocado oil because of the high smoke point and neutral flavor. I can't stress enough how important it is to season this griddle properly. Look at some Youtube videos if unsure how to do this. I do not leave this on the grill after using it as carbon steel has a tendency to rust easily. Properly cared for, this griddle should last a long time.

Great griddle, thick and flat. Definitely worth buying as a pan too. It fits the largest size range on the electric stovetop so I use it for high heat cooking indoors when I'm not using it for grilling. Its heft and thickness means it doesn't warp like other pans do when putting on serious heat on the stovetop. I've had the whole surface smoking with oil several times in the past few years and it hasn't even warped once. It works great for searing meat and cooking fried eggs because of this. It's definitely got more cleaning effort than a pan, but not beyond what is expected of cast iron.

Love It! Works Great! It's seasoning very easily. Great non-stick. Easy to clean except the overflow tray. It would be nice if it came with a tool to clean out the overflow. My husband rigged one up out of a piece of flexible molding. The grill is also quite heavy. Make sure your BBQ is very sturdy. We definitely love ours and have been using it.

Good value. Good quality material and design. Handles and trough make it very functional. It needs to be kept at around 350F to avoid bowing which is hard because if you have a remotely decent grill, it gets wayyyy higher than 350. I kept opening to lid to cool off. It did bow, but temporarily, it flattened out quickly. It worked very well for my fajitas. It saved me ~$500+ to buy a Blackstone/griddle so I'm very happy with the results.

If you’re into smash burgers, this is it. The surface gets screaming hot and gives you that perfect crust. No warping, no peeling, just solid steel. After seasoning it properly, food releases easily. Way better than cheap coated griddles I’ve tried before. It fits my 4-burner gas grill perfectly and gives me so much cooking space.

This looks like a good replacement for the Weber searing pan. I have used various cast iron pans to sear steaks on my kettles for a year now. The problem is the pan handle always gets in the way when closing the kettle lid. This pan is sturdy, has a good smooth finish for searing and fits well in my kettles. The value of the pan is quite high for the cost. It is comparable to a $200.00 Le Crusette pan in quality.
