Rainbow Moonstone Crystal Palm Stone, 45-50mm Large Healing Crystal

I just got my moonstone yesterday. Loved the whitish background with ink like streaks of black. Just lovely enough I thought without the blue flashes. Then today examined it from the light near a window and found several blue and turquoise like flashes on the sides. Surprised but thrilled. I knew my new stone was magical and full of surprises!

Beautiful palmstone and natural colors. Alot of character reflection in the sunlight.

I have the Rainbow Moonstone, Labrodorite, and Larvikite stones. They are all quite consistent in size and shape and are certainly authentic specimens good for meditation/healing/psychic purposes. However they are not cut to particularly emphasize any unique coloration or "flash" that some stones are known for. So if you're expecting to be entertained with a fabulous light or color show for collecting purposes, this is not the place to get your rocks--you may be disappointed. The stones are also more like 3/4 inch at their thickest, more than indicated. Good size and weight for meditation but a little pudgy to carry around in your pocket. I would have liked a little thinner, but longer for a 'palm' stone as an everyday carry. Overall, for the variety available and the price, I'm pretty satisfied.

Moonstone barely has flash and black fleck is not real the white part is genuine but maybe paint or resin or both was used to create black fleck 😞I also ordered a sunstone, but the stone I received is actually moonstone. Real sunstone shows aventurescence (sparkly inclusions), while moonstone shows adularescence (a soft flash). The piece I got only has adularescence, no sparkle at all. I have a real sunstone sphere for comparison the last two photos is of my sunstone moonstone sphere i purchased from china

The first order included three stones, one of with was solid black with no iridescence. This was not depicted as a possibility on the offer site despite the fact later research seemed to indicate that there are solid black moonstones. If you like black, I guess solid black is ok, but if you're anticipating that blue inclusions depicted on the web, the black is disappointing and caused a waste of time, straightening the order out.

This stone is beautiful on its own with the milky white glaze exterior and the smooth feel. I was a little bummed out at first because I didn’t think it had that’s pearlescent glow but then I put a light on it and it’s like a hidden gem and it put a big smile on my face. Absolutely beautiful. Can’t wait to sleep with it tonight.

I understand that this is a rock, it's a natural item and every item is going to vary. So it's not going to look exactly like the photos demonstrated on the page. But this really looks different. I attached a photo to compare.There are only a couple of spots where you see the opalescence that you'd expect from a moonstone. If you move it around and let the light hit it just right, there are a couple of specks that light up. The largest is about half the size of my pinky nail. Otherwise it's a regular, dull stone like you might find sitting outside.I will give them credit for shaping and polishing it. It's a pleasantly-rounded and smooth stone. There is some pitting here and there, where you feel cracks and chips, so as a comfort item to rub it's not the best. But it's not awful.I paid for a smooth, round moonstone of a decent size, and that's exactly what I got, so I can't complain. I'm just underwhelmed by its appearance.

The blue colour area is not as big as the display picture.At the back, there is very tiny chip in the middle, it makes me to think this stone is not a brand new one; like a second hand one.
