Have you bought a ceiling fan recently? Unfortunately, a well-intended law has created a catastrophe. Candelabra bulb bases! Originally conceived as a way to save energy during the age of the incandescent bulb, now you struggle to find a candelabra base on CFL and LED bulbs! I say this as a very important preface: do not purchase these if you plan to use incandescent or halogen bulbs. I use these with standard base LED bulbs with no dimmer. I don't know how these react with dimmable LED bulbs.So, as you have read in other reviews, you have have seen that these adapters will add some length to the bulbs. Does it make the light fixture look ugly? Maybe. On my bedroom fan, the bulbs only slightly protrude from the rim of the globes and they actually appear quite nice. The living room and dining room fans were cheaper fans bought from a popular discount store. The globes are shorter and simpler, so the entire lit portion of the LED bulb protrudes, creating a "bug-eyed" effect. Considering the other popular style of ceiling fan lighting is a heavily tinted plastic enclosure or dish that wouldn't produce a lot of light regardless of the type bulb installed, I'm willing to live with the bug eyes. Four 40-Watt equivalent LEDs only use around 25 Watts together when they're all turned on, but really light up a room. I had previously tried candelabra LEDs -- one was rather expensive and I use it in my hall light. Despite claiming a "warm glow," it was very blue in color. I think tried buying some cheap ones from China -- besides fearing the quality of the bulb manufacture, the light was pale green. It wouldn't do. So, this was my last ditch effort to try to use my tried and true normal sized warm-light LEDs. I've had these adapters for about three months, sometimes leaving them on all day (new construction/moving in). There has been no flickering, no smoldering, no sparks, no burnouts... in other words, when used with LED non-dimmable bulbs and light fixtures, I have had absolutely no problems.If you are thinking of using these for your ceiling fan specifically with LEDs and don't plan on having your fan on a dimmer, I highly recommend this product!

I didn't read the reviews of these until after I ordered. The reviews had me scared. When I received them, I admit it was a bit odd that there were NO stickers, labels, markings of any kind anywhere on the product. I waited to use them until my electrician brother could check them out. He gave them the thumbs up and put them in my light fixture for me. I am using them with LED bulbs so I don't have a lot of heat to worry about, but they do exactly what I bought them to do. I would buy more without hesitation if I had a need. They are shipped from Singapore, so if you're in a hurry you may want to find them elsewhere...but these are CHEAP and work. Winner in my book.

For years I’ve hated how dim our bedrooms were but bc of the e12 sockets we didn’t have much choice, light fixtures for 4 bedrooms can get a little pricey. These are a perfect solution & MUCH more affordable than buying all new light fixtures!!

Just what we needed, tried several times but not the right ones.

These bulb adapters are a complete game-changer! My E12 bulbs were dim and expensive, but now I can use standard E26/E27 bulbs. It’s like my living room ceiling fan went from mood lighting to spotlight in one twist! No more squinting at my book, and my electricity bill is thanking me. My wife at first complained they were too bright, but now she loves them!A++ purchase!

I ordered these so I could use standard LED bulbs in a fixture I have that only took the E12 bulbs. They fit just as intended and I don't have any concern.As a bonus, they arrived very fast (2 weeks early). Very happy with the purchase. Thanks!

This is great to convert those weak candelebra sockets to fit real lightbulbs. My living room is so bright now
