I’ve used the Merlin’s Magic Sleepsuit for both of my children, one now 5 years old, and my newest at 9 months old. For my 9 month old, she wore the 3-6 mo suit, 6-9 mo suit and now this sack with the footies.Disclaimer, I have never tried any other product because this company’s product worked right off the bat!It’s soft, warm, easy to wash and dry, and easy to dress her in for her sleeps. It’s like wearing a blanket without the safety concern. She is able to move around and roll over in it. It’s a tad big because this size is meant for 12-18 months, but she’s a tall girl and will grow into it. The entire size of the footed sleep sack is about the same size as the 9-12 month sleep sack so I didn’t have any concerns. Sometimes her feet are out and sometimes not.If I were having another child, I’d get these all over again or reuse them.

There are so many reviews complaining how the sizing is not right. This is a wearable BLANKET. It is not supposed to fit tight. For reference, it fits my petite 18 month old who is 21lbs. It is oversized but cozy. It fits well enough that it would not ride up and cover her face and she is still able to walk around in it. Great product and has kept her warm and comfortable during the freezing temperature nights.

I purchased this for baby when he outgrew the merlin sleep suit. It is nowhere near as thick as the sleep suit, which had me concerned that baby would be cold, but it surprisingly keeps him warm. It’s a good quality material and double zipper which I love, though at his age now of almost 1 I don’t typically need to do middle of the night diaper changes anymore. I really love that it has leg holes. They make it easy for him to walk when he’s getting ready for bed or standing in his crib. It also helps ventilate Queen it’s warm. I would recommend this sleep sack to anyone looking for one.

Soft, warm, comfortable and a little larger than expected

If you have a little one who struggles to stay asleep, spend the money on a couple of these and thank me later. They are safe for sleep despite what some people may say. I say this an an extremely particular parent, you'll be fine using these.

Yes, it's big, like many of the other reviewers have shared. But it definitely shrunk slightly with a couple washes and I rolled the legs up for now. I'd rather it be big and know my child will grow into it. The double zipper is a great feature, it's good thick fabric, keeps baby nice and comfortable without overheating, and seems like good quality overall. My son struggles with long periods of sleep so I don't know that this has helped extend it much but it definitely hasn't hurt and it's a perfect alternative to a blanket when they're done with swaddles but still young.

I swore by the sleep suit and then she got bigger so that’s when we got the sleep stack. Please make sure that you are getting either the fleece or the cotton on purpose because I thought I was getting the cotton and I accidentally ordered the fleece and it was perfect for the winter time but it’s not the winter time so I went ahead and ordered the cotton version. They are very stretchy and comfy and it’s perfect for the summertime!

We have been using magic Merlin since birth. We love having different suits to transition between as our daughter grows. Definitely recommend giving it a try for your baby. It’s thick, but breathable. It’s easy to wash!
