Great turntable for the money
This was much better than I expected.Purchased to replace a small Bush turntable that did not fully support the record, hence mechanical noise on first few tracks. The TEAC TN175 appears to be punching above it's relatively cheap price. Very well package, nice looking product with a quality feel to the deck finish. The fully automatic tone arm is a feature I have never had before, it's great and accurately places the needle each time. No noticeable mechanical noise or hum, sound is crisp and rich, very pleased and impressed. Not sure how much I would need to spend to make it sound better, it sounds perfect to me and only cost ÂŁ129!I am using the TN175 inbuilt pre-amp feeding into the AUX connection on a Denon Amplifier, this feeding Mission speakers. Sounds great. This is a great turntable that I am happy recommend.

excellent product
excellent product - just what I wanted - tested without phono pre-amp (my amplifier has a phono input) and excellent sound, convenient operation

Ok for the price
As a second turntable or for an Airbnb this is a good choice. Price point good and quality ok. Sound is fine. Dont expect too much and you will not be disappointed.

Great value for money entry level record turntable with impressive performance for this price point.
This was bought to get back into vinyl after many years without anything to play my records on.As it is entry level, there is no adjustment of the counter weight or any anti-skating, that said it is fitted with anAudio Technica Stylus and AT3600L MM (VM) cartridge. (NOTE: The manual does say that although the stylus can be changed, the cartridge can not be replaced.)Again, although a entry level deck, it is fully automatic so removes a lot of the miss queueing that may occur using the lever and manually aligning the arm, which should be good for the stylus and your vinyl!I have mine plugged into the phono input of my Yamaha A-S301 amp with Celestion F2 Floor Standing 100W Speakers and I am impressed with the seperation and performance of this deck, great performance for the money! (It does have a built in amp for those plugging into Aux inputs or powered speakers but I've not checked it out.)So if you are on a limited budget this is a worthwhile contender, I bought it at ÂŁ129 but would have still been happy if I'd paid the rrp of ÂŁ149.99.

Revisiting my vinyl collection - at long last!
Bought to accompany my Technics separates, with which it works really well. It's important to ensure selection of the correct output setting when using what is essentially analog, otherwise the result is unpleasant distortion. The other thing is that the unit's footprint is larger than the rest of my system, so although the feet sit ontop of the tuner, thedeck actually overhangs a little. Nota deal breaker by any means and aesthetically it still looks good! Simple to operate and the automaric function is reminiscent of my original Technics deck

Running too slow! The second TN-175 that I sent back!!
This was the second Teac TN-175 that I have owned - and I had to return this one too!!!Initially both turntables seemed fine but within a few weeks, both began to run too slow and fluctuate in speed leading to poor, distorted sound.I returned the first turntable thinking that it must have just been a on-off fault - but when the replacement exhibited the same fault, it was time to try another brand. Bought a Sony PS LX310 instead.Price point was great and it looked stylish but was just not reliable at all. Really disappointed.

High rating due to excellent customer service, it's just a pity that the item didn't work upon connectionI would consider using this company in the future.

Preis/Leistung, sowie Lieferung einfach gut!
Endlich wieder alte Platten in sehr guter Qualität anhören.
