I Am Sick of This S**t

I suffer from really bad anxiety and can get worked up quite easily and this is one of the things that helps me calm down and forget for a little bit. I ordered this with a set of 100 gel pens and it provides me a couple hours at a time of coloring. The pages are really detailed so i have a lot to do. I've been coloring one page for a while now because I'm a perfectionist lol and also because there are so many details to figure out color schemes for. Some of the swear words I look at funny because I'm like "what does that mean" and "I've never heard of this word before" but it's all in good fun! I would recommend for anyone who just likes to relax and color or for someone who needs it for theraputic reasons.

Coloring in this book is relaxing and funny. I appreciate the designs and when I find a hidden animal behind the swear words and flowers, it's like a special treat. I like that there's only one image per page, so that my markers don't bleed through to the next image, even though my crummy markers did bleed through to the image on the next page - I just stuck a piece of cardboard between the pages to prevent bleeding through and also to serve as a hard surface so I could color with my feet up. If you use pencils or crayons, bleeding through obviously won't be a problem. With the intricate designs, I'll be coloring for a while with this book. I look forward to the next book once I'm done.

This has been the best way to waste endless hours of my time while recuperating from a broken ankle that required surgery. I'm 2 months into a 3 month period of being entirely non weight bearing, most of which I’ve had to elevate my leg 23 hours a day to minimize edema. I purchased the Sargent Art brand colored pencils, 50 count box to use with this, & the two work really well together. I like how detailed the pages are. Some of the pages are so detailed that I don't think I can sharpen a pencil small enough to color them. They may require a set of fine tipped felt tip pens or the like. The coloring pictures are one per page, so there's no worry of bleeding through. The smallest, least detailed page took me about 5 hours to complete. Most of the others took 6+ hours to complete. The designs are similar, but not too much alike. I liked that there were some British slangs in there, as well as some old school words, one of which I had to look up on Urban Dictionary, because I didn't know what it meant, but was amused to learn it’s meaning. This book can obviously be offensive to some, but I have a vast sense of humor & a sailor mouth, so I found it to be wildly entertaining. I’ve thought about ordering other books in this series, as well as other brands, but I don’t see myself finishing this book in the time that I’m recuperating, because the pages really do take a long time to complete. I also don’t see myself taking the time to color at all once I’m healed, because I’ll be ready to return to my active lifestyle. I’ve also attached some photos of a few of the pages I’ve completed. Really like this book. It has really great images to express how you really feel. The book has one image per page which is nice so your markers won't bleed thru to an image on the reverse. There is a great variety within the book. I love how it has little cute animals hidden in as well. Lots of detail but not so small that it's hard to stay in the lines. Included are some pictures of the interior of the book. I've found that coloring is great to help relax, de-stress, and decrease anxiety.

I honestly love this coloring book. I work in a call center where I’m bored all the time and frustrated with the always-ringing phone, so coloring these pages actually does help! Plus my coworkers get a kick out of it. I’ve started gifting my completed pages to the coworker I deem most fitting of the word on the page. Great fun!

I am loving this book! The paper quality is medium. It's neither the greatest nor the best. Colored pencils transfer well onto the paper as well as gel pens. The bleed through to the back of the paper is typical while using gel pens but to be on the safe side I placed a plain piece of white paper under the page and when I am closing the book after using gel pens I place another piece of paper on top of my coloring to prevent the colors from smearing to the back of the previous page. As I flip through this comical yet relaxing book there I am finding words and phrases that I instantly associate with my friends and family as they say them often as well as words that I use often. I am currently in the process of coloring a phrase for my sister in gel pen that I plan to frame and send to her for some comical decoration in her newly acquired house.

I got this as a present for my friend as we study for finals. He really wanted a mindless activity (without the glare of a computer screen) to take a brake with once in a while. He wouldn't stop talking about adult coloring books and so I looked for one that would be funny too. There are other coloring books with swear words but this one seems like one of the best. It actually has decent surrounding designs to color and doesn't look as cheesily designed as some of the others. This looks like it was actually done professionally and not thrown together on someone's home desktop in MS paint one afternoon.

ONLY reason not 4 stars is the stuff around the words what they heck is it? I see it everywere on these things now I thknk they are wierd leaves but even then NO MORE LEAVES PLEASE authors there arent enough green mediums in the world to color them all. lol good book with nice words and fint and cute animals

Just received this as a fun gift for my teenage son. Am still laughing my head off - what a joy! I want to give one of these to everyone with a pack of pencils. I think I could buy every one of these books and never get bored. I want them on my wall for inspiration... The Cats v. Dogs 'P**S OFF' cover is still making me laugh Maybe I need to get out more - or just swear more!! Cheered up a rainy day for me and all for under a fiver.

Ich habe das Malbuch zur Entspannung für meine Freundin gekauft. Als es recht schnell per Post in einem relativ schmalen Umschlag geliefert wurde kam mir das Heft wirklich sehr dünn vor. Da das Heft und die, nennen wir sie mal Mandala-Worte in englisch sind. Sollte man auch einen gewissen Vokabelschatz besitzen. Ich bin relativ fluent und kann ich nicht alle Worte deuten. Das stört aber nicht weiter da das Heft ja eigentlich zur Entspannung beim malen beitragen soll. Das Papier ist für meine Begriffe recht dünn, weswegen man ggf. auf Filzstifte verzichten sollte oder ein Blatt einfach dazwischen legen sollte. Für den Preis aber ist das Heft ein gelungenes, witziges Geschenk gewesen. Ich werde mal schauen ob ich ein weiteres mit deutschen Wörtern finden kann. Ich habe selbst eins ausgemalt und würde wie gesagt Buntstifte empfehlen sollte man danach süchtig werden.

I bought this for my sister while she was stuck in hospital, utterly fed up. She absolutely loved it and it helped her pass the time and give her and the nurses a laugh. Designs are funny, pretty and intricate. Great gift for someone who is under the weather. I included some pretty colouring pencils in a little gift pack.
