SPEEDWOX 12PCS Heavy Duty Glass Running Pliers Breaker Grozer Pliers Set

I took a glass mosaics class and was told to buy a kit with line pliers and a scoring tool. Well, this one has everything but the nippers, which made me super happy! Not only that, but the instructor even saod these were very well made tools and that I made a good choice. I really like the carry case and that it has sturdy tools. The line pliers seem to be much more powerful for breaking the score! I am able to use the cutter easily and really love the bonus etching tool! I am still learning how to ise it well, but am loving them all so far! A definite must have for anyone intending to trim tile or cut glass!

I haven’t done stain glass breaking or even successfully performed the task I bought this for, but I have played with the tools and will say that they are sturdy and seem like well made products for sure! I bought this because I am hoping to do a DIY repair on a huge 100 gallon aquarium with a crunched corner… it is a daunting task and the sheets are 3/8 inch thick or something. I’m hoping these tools will come in handy when I get the nerve to do this… Features I really liked- the etching pen is great for just using on so many things in life not just glass! lol. Seriously. The pliers are also very useful in many delicate scenarios. I recommend the thick rubbery handles as the my really give a perfect hold. Haven’t tried the less grippy option they have.

I’m new to stained glass work. I bought this little kit just to have equipment until I decided if I enjoyed it enough to invest in more expensive items. These are great! The only issue I have is with the cutter. Normally you can adjust the flow of cutting oil using the knob. However that doesn’t change the flow of oil with this one. It also leaks a little oil around the cutter head when you aren’t using it. So I recommend not adding much oil to it at a time, and wrap a tissue loosely around the head when you put it away to prevent the oil from getting everywhere. Otherwise it is fantastic and a great value!

Excellent product. Very easy to use and quality made product. I do quite a bit of framing and make glass precision cuts regularly. Tip for users, a drop of oil makes the cutting smoother.

Wonderful for newbies to get started. Pistol grip glass cutter didn't hold oil - not sure what I'm doing wrong, but will figure it out. Loved the grozers and running pliers. Wasn't expecting the sharp tool to "write" on glass, but it will be very useful when grouting my pieces. Nice to have extra cutters and covers for tools. Case is handy.

Nice to have a complete set of tools in a holder. All work as they should no issues.

I love this set so far! I used it for the first time last night. The 6-12mm cutter scores the glass very nicely. But.. The 2-6mm piece is missing the part that scores the glass! This piece came attached to the handle. The other 2 pieces have the scorer, but this one did not. I included pictures of these. But the running and breaking pliers work wonderfully. I also have read other reviews so I do not put oil in the cutter handle, but just use a sponge w/ oil to dip it in before cutting and it works great.

Loved this kit!! Had everything I needed and more!! Also extra space in it for other little tools etc.

I will be using this for my stained glass projects.

All items were of good quality, only the glass cutters release too much oil and makes it a bit messy to work with. (I also received one set that had two additional cutting heads without cutting wheels inside and I had to return them. I'm still waiting for the replacement.)
