We brought this when we went to Hawaii. This is not a life jacket, this is meant for kids that knows how to swim but just need a bit of assistance in the water. You can't leave your kid unattended on this regardless how great of a swimmer they are. It fits my son well however, he did complain when he was at the beach that it was hurting his armpit, but mind you, we were in the water for a long time.

I ordered size small for my large 18 month old daughter. The weigh for size small is 29-33lb my daughter is 30lb and it too big. It looks reall well made just a pithy it’s too big

I ordered a M and L for my 35lb 2.5 yo and 45lb 4.5 yo based on the weight descriptions (M: Weight 16-18kgs/34-40lbsL: Weight 19-22kgs/41-48lbs). When they arrived the weight printed inside the vests listed the M as 30-40Kgs and L as 40-50Kgs. The M fits my 4.5 yo perfectly and does a great job of keeping him afloat. I will have to order a S for my 2.5 yo.
