We love this puzzle and how incorporates so many different cultures and abilities. In my head I thought that the body pieces were magnetic for some reason especially because they stand up to play with. But my assumption there was wrong. I was bummed to find out that it was a lower quality sort of raw wood that makes the pieces thicker. Still a great puzzle to have and my son loves playing with it and mixing and matching clothes and bodies too.

I like this toy. I purchased this to include more diversity of people represented in the toys at the daycare. The children love puzzles and I thought they would be drawn to this. So far it has only been mildly interesting to them. We will see. There is one frustrating aspect to this puzzle. The pieces are not 100 percent interchangeable. The heads have different shapes and don’t fit in all of the spaces. If you take the pieces out of the board and use them that way, you can interchange all of the pieces. The pieces seem to be sturdy with a good paint job. The pieces are a good size for small hands. I think it will last.

The toy is cute but the board starting falling apart before the toddler even got ahold of it. The wood started to peel on the edges.
