Perfect English Style: Creating rooms that are comfortable, pleasing and timeless

I’ve purchased all of this author’s books on English interiors and have enjoyed every one. The libraries are always my favorite, especially the one pictured right after the index in this book. I did notice that roughly half of the pictures feature neutral surfaces: walls, kitchens, etc. I prefer more color and pattern, but that is just my personal opinion. Still, this was a lovely coffee table book which will join my ever growing collection of art, architecture, and interiors books.

I love this book. It is an easy read and it has photos to go with what you are reading. Good coffee-top book.I would encourage anyone to purchase. This is my 2nd book from this author.

I’ve been excited to receive my copy but I am so disappointed. It is just a rehash of all the previous books. I feel cheated publishers should make this clear. A waste of money. If you have all her other books do not bother with this it is a rip off.

A compilation of her other books with some photos borrowed from others by Ben Pentreath and Nina Campbell. Was looking forward to publication but just a rejigging of her other books. Avoid this book if you have these.

A bit disappointed. I have loved all her other books, this is just old photos of poor quality. A lazy complication that is nothing new.

If you don’t have other books in the series then this is worth it but it really is a re-hash of books printed before. It should have been called a ‘Best of’ book rather than implying it’s something new.Poor publication thinking.
