Too Flimsy for a DSLR
I have a Canon 7D Mark II with a 60mm macro lens and this product collapsed under the weight. If you have have a small point and shoot or are using this for you mobile phone, it is fine. does all the things a flexible tripod should but it is NOT for DSLR's. It is too flimsy. I am shipping mine back. Mine was also missing the 1/2" screw adapter. The product i rec'd does not look the same as the image.

DSLR TOO HEAVY , works for a few days
bought this before going on a trip for my t3i and i liked it for a couple days, but out of no where my cam became way too heavy for the tripod and it just kept on falling right off the head of the tripod i was scared to hold it on there the rest of my trip. on the bright side i did like the idea of the gorilla pod so it made me want to get the real version instead.

A little sticky so it is difficult to move into different positions but it works for what I need.

DO NOT BUY. HORRIBLE QUALITY
I read the reviews and this seemed fine. I WAS WRONG. The thing is completely defective. The top ring that holds the camera falls off with little to no force applied to it. Wouldn't trust a 50 dollar camera with this much less my 1000 dollar Fuji. Also, legs are not very long or sturdy. The description makes it sound like it is for big cameras but this thing is WEAK and an absolute joke in comparison to the JOBY DSLR one. I returned this one and bought the JOBY one with the ball head and it is NOT EVEN CLOSE. The quality is the difference between a junkyard car and a Ferrari. Just pay the money and get a real product. I never review stuff this was just so bad that I couldn't not warn people.

Handy as a pocket on a shirt! Don't expect it to hold a long heavy lens but standard lens on a DSLR works perfectly.
