DOACE Heated Vest for Men & Women, Smart heated Jacket (Battery Not Included)

Bought the Mens polyester polar fleece in large.. My measurments are chest-48, waist-34, hips-42. The vest is a little tight around my chest but the rest of it fits me perfect. I work in a packing house, constant 30 to 40 degrees. 9 to 10 hours a day. I bought this to wear on the cold work floor. It works amazingly, keeping me warm. I change the temp between low medium and high depending on the work im doing. I can put my hands in the pockets to warm them up, the battery is in the right pocket-would be nice to have a pocket specifically for the battery. I have to lift my hands above my shoulders sometimes and there isnt any restriction- i can move perfectly in this vest. The heated vest is light weight and not bulky. I have noticed i stay warmer when i wear the vest underneath another sweat shirt rather then over it. Either way-- id recommend this product to anyone that works in a packing house. I also bought the Anker powercore 20000 mAh to use with this vest. It lasts me all day while im working- turning it off during breaks. And it still has battery left afterwards. UPDATE-- NOVEMBER 2022.. my vest has a short in it. It started randomly shutting off. Then I noticed everytime I would move, the vest would shut off or reset to the low setting. I found that the short was in button area. So I cut a hole to try to fix it. The button area is filled with a white rubber. I haven't had the time to take it apart and peel the rubber off. But in the future I will. Still, a great vest.

First..the vest is great. Good materials, zippers, and well made. Second...easy to operate. The chest control buttons are easy to use. The illumination is cool. Conversation starter. Easy to turn off. Third is the size. I'm 6'2 260 and read a review from another guy that was same size as me. He stated he bought 2xl ( my typical size) first and it was too tight, so he returned for 3xl and that was too loose. So I ordered 3xl just to be on safe side. It does run a bit large for me too, but comfortable, comfortable enough to keep it. It's an under-coat garment after all. In summary on the size...for you bigger guys like me. There's a big gap between 2xl and 3xl. Gotta decide on a snug fit or a loose fit in our size. Summary on vest over-all. I love it. All thumbs up. I recommend. Don't forget to get your battery pack. (sold separate) You're going to want to wear/use your vest right away. I recommend buying the battery amazon recommends if you're not sure about battery pks. If you're a shopper ..there's many to choose from.

I liked the way this item fit. Snug with a thin layer underneath it. To get the most from vests, you want to have less underneath the vest and more on top of the vest - if needed. The battery pocket for this vest is located INSIDE the vest. I would have 2 suggestions on this. 1 - it's uncomfortable to have the battery located inside the vest and poking or protruding into your waist. 2 - To get the duration of heat from this unit, you will want a larger battery pack, which is difficult to fit into the pocket. This vest did not get anywhere near HOT, but was warm and I think if worn under a jacket, but help keep you warmer in the cold weather. YMMV Alex

I used this vest working outdoors all winter long and it did no dissapoint. I liked this one because it was a little liwer profile than others that lookl like the "buble jackets" and I wanted to be able to wear it under my work jacket or sweatshirt. The heat this thing gives off is amazing on its own, being able to wear it under another jacket only enhances this. Having the three zones that can be adjusted separately adds to the recommendations. While others I worked with had to wear many layers or freeze, I was toasty warm and comfortable. Just be aware that this does not come with a portable charger, so you will need to have one. The length of use depends on the quality and strength of that charger, but I was very happy as I always got around six hours of use on high with all three zones activated. I hope this was helpful!

Great heated jacket, wish I had ordered a medium instead of large. But other than that I paired this jacket with a big 20,000mah rechargeable battery bank, and this thing lasts all night and for pretty much another night before I have to charge it again. I love the jacket, just keep in mind that whatever battery pack you get, it adds a good bit of weight and bulk to the right side pocket. Other than that it’s great, it heats up in all the right places, neck, shoulder, middle and lower back, and pocket areas. And the heat, on high setting, is definitely warm but not quite “hot” until you get warm enough and then if it’s in constant contact with the same area of skin, then it will start to feel too hot. Which is great in my opinion. If you wear this as your first or second layer, over a thin T-shirt or something, and put a hoodie on over it (and a jacket over the hoodie, depending on the temp/degree of cold) then it retains and produces a LOT of heat and keeps you comfortable for a long time. Just get a much bigger battery than a tiny 8,000mah bank.

If you buy this for a curvy female, go up a size. The fabric is not stretchy. If you keep the battery plugged in but not turned on it will still drain the battery. High quality fabric and easy to clean.

Even when the power is off I've thought it was on. The silver lining in this vest should be in all jackets! I hardly ever keep the back of the neck one on. The back section I can keep on as it's like a heating pad. Definitely works better with the recommended flat battery pack. I tried M12 adapter and it's to big to carry in the pocket, it fits just rather bulky and heavy.

I tried this on a motorcycle ride the day after it arrived. Nice amount of warmth when I set the heat levels to low (blue). I started my ride in the high 50s F (15C). As the day warmed up, I turned off the heat and still the vest retained a lot of heat just through the insulating material and the inner reflective liner. From what I can tell, I think I can safely expect 6 to 8 hours of heat on the low setting. I'm waiting for a cooler day to see how it works on the middle setting. I also want to try a longer ride to see just how many hours the battery actually lasts. This vest covers my torso, unlike some I have tried that only covered my chest. I wanted a vest this time instead of a jacket to have more freedom of movement in my arms. This is now my favorite item of heated gear.

I'm extremely picky and this passes my test. It's more than hot enough. I wear it over a t-shirt under a sweater or Jacket and it keeps me very warm. It could potentially even get too warm at some moments but I'd much rather have something that I need to turn down then something that doesn't get warm enough. I'm yet to test it in very cold temperatures but with what I've experienced so far its going to be a great help. I'm in Edmonton Alberta Canada where it can get down to -50 sometimes in winter so I'm very excited to use this. I purchased two 15,000 milliamp batteries alongside this. One battery will last up to 6 hours on the hottest setting and will definitely last more than eight plus on the lower settings with the batteries that I purchased.

Product is good and quality looks decent. Slightly larger than expected. However, the delivery was late and communication was poor. According to the delivery tracking number provided (which I had to contact the seller for), this product is still in transit after I have recieved it late. Amazon tracking is also a joke for this item.

This vest is great under my jacket to keep the cold away when standing outside . I used a 10000 mha battery that on low setting will last 8 hr.

Heat was not even, material was not what I expected either. Having said that, got a full refund so I still give it a 3/5 for customer service.
