Ikan FLY-X3-GO 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer for GoPro (Black)

I purchased this item in March of 2016. It arrived quickly and in great shape. Mounted the go pro and played with in the yard just before my trip to Maui with the family. Everything seemed fine. I did not discover until I got to Maui, that the pan feature did not keep the horizon level. If you panned through 180 degrees it would be off about 7 degrees (that is a lot of tilt). Even short pans through of just 20 or 30 degrees showed enough tilt in the horizon to make the shot unusable. I wound up not using at all in Maui.Once back I filed a complaint with Amazon. I was told I would have to deal with the seller direct so I sent them an email. I was told by Adorama, that because more than 30 days had passed, that I would have to deal directly with the manufacturer in China. So I boxed it up and went to the FedEx store and found that shipping to China was more than half of the purchase price, I decided not to return it. My experience on other items in dealing with China has not been good, it wasn't worth it.When I got home, I stuck the unit in the garage and forgot all about it until I was cleaning out the place earlier this summer. My fault for not following up with a little more aggressively. But, I wanted to tell everyone to make sure that when you purchase something like this, read the warranty stuff first and make sure it is an Amazon Prime product. Heck, a 30 day warranty period, in my case did not give me nearly enough time to work through all its features.All that said, the unit was well made, all the parts fit nicely and I was impressed with how well it did the camera stabilization thing except for the panning horizon issue.

Got this for my husband and he just tried it out on vacation these past few days. He loves it! There is a little bit of a learning curve, but once you understand all the many options, it is pretty amazing. Huge difference from when he used the stabilizer vs when he is just holding the Go Pro in his hands. And it has tracking options which make it all the better. Would highly recommend.

Good, but does not fit the Hero 5. Feel a bit cheated on that since the marketing is not clear.
