I severely dangle broke my left lower leg both fibula an tibia down through the joint along with a 100% dislocation of the ankle and a tear of the lower ligament between the two bones, when it happened I had to reach down and turn my Left sneaker toes from 7 o’clock to 12, it was as gruesome an injury as you can have, made Dak Prescott’s injury look mild by comparison. So 6 hour surgery, 13 pieces of titanium and 8 weeks later I’m making a sharp recovery, my bones are healing very fast except for the fibula(always slow apparently), my doc now has me putting 100% weight on it and it’s quite frightening, He gave me an air cast splint but I have no confidence in it, I bought this brace because it looked well thought out and had good reviews, well it did not disappoint, I’m wearing it and I’m walking without even a limp, I’m still slightly nervous but nothing compared to what I was, this is a great confidence inspiring ankle brace! If there is one complaint it’s that it’s a little bulky to fit in some shoes, just lace them looser, can’t recommend this brace enough

I'm 6'9" 235 lbs and have been playing basketball professionally overseas for 6 years. I've been through my share of tweaks, sprains, and surgeries throughout my career and believe I have a valid perspective on this topic. Now, here is the thing about ankle braces and tape that a lot of people don't seem to realize. NOTHING will give you full or complete prevention of an ankle sprain, NOTHING. Don't expect to buy this brace and think that you'll never roll your ankle again. If you land on it, twist it wrong or hard enough it's going to sprain. It does not matter If you have it professionally taped or wear this brace, an ASO brace, McDavid, Aircast, if you land on it hard enough, it will go. That being said... there are real minor protection and prevention qualities of taping and/or braces. I've been in this game a long time and have tried everything there is. When it comes to taping, there is a variety of brands out there, some MUCH MUCH better than others and given the choice on game day with quality tape, i'm going to have my ankles taped. If you do not have access to quality tape and someone who knows how to tape an ankle properly, this brace is a great option. The only brace i've come across that has comparable protection is an Air Cast brace. But that is simply too bulky for me to wear. The A2-DX is without question the most supportive, yet comfortable brace I've ever worn. I know there are others out there that will feel better on foot, (mcdavid and aso) but in terms of Support/Prevention and Comfort. This is the best brace I've ever worn. I tried this product simply because Steph Curry wears them. Reason being, If a million dollar athlete with chronic ankle issues trust his personal health and safety to a product he actually wears on court, it must be a quality product. Turns out, it really is.

Definitely helps with ankle stabilization. I wish there was a TAD more heel support but that's more of a nitpick.

I severely sprained my ankle, messing up every ligament in my ankle. I have tried 5 or 6 different ankle braces. This one gave the most support and completely prevented ankle roll, but actually gave a little more flexibility front to back making it easier to walk more normally (this prevents new injuries caused by an awkward gait). My only issue was I was right between sizes small and medium. I bought the small and it is working well, but it took me 2-3 days to get it completely figured out so it wasn't too tight. There are 3 pads velcroed inside the inside ankle that were putting too much pressure on my ankle bone. When I took one off, it fit much better. I was even able to use the velcro pad inside my wrist brace which had a seam along my thumb that was bothering me. I have been wearing this brace day and night and only taking it off to shower. If you are worried about the price, don't hesitate to buy this brace. It works better than everything else and it is cheaper to buy one expensive brace rather than 5 or 6 cheaper braces in an attempt to get one that is comfortable and supportive and prevents re-injury.

These are top notch. Comfortable for such a restricting ankle brace. Light, very adjustable to find that perfect fit( takes some adjusting) but once you play in them you’ll see what I mean. It takes a while for some to get used to but it’s a quality ankle brace. Not restricting play, just feels weird at first.

I play tennis regularly and sprained my ankle. Needed a ankle brace that will give the confidence of not getting injured and be competitive in the game. This brace gave me that ... stability ... good range of motion and still with good level of comfort. Feels very good on the ankle and the confidence to play great !!!

I severely sprained my ankle on the first day of the COVID-19 "safer at home" lockdown. It was both the best and worst possible time for such an injury. On one hand, I had nowhere to go. On the other hand, it was brutal to lose my mobility and the one form of exercise (running) available to me at the time. I also wasn't going anywhere near an ER or a doctor's office in March 2020. I ended up rehabbing on my own with the help of YouTube, Google, resistance bands, and a handy device called the Foot Gym. At first, I used an ACE ankle brace that I already had on hand. Imagine my disappointment when I reinjured my now much weaker ankle on a neighborhood walk about a month into my recovery. It was so painful I had to sit on a curb and call my wife to come pick me up. That was my low. This Zamst brace provided the support, stability, and comfort I needed to get better. I ordered several different options from Amazon, including one that looked like a less expensive knock off of this product. None of them came close to the Zamst. Yes, it's expensive. I too was pretty hesitant to drop this much $ on an ankle brace. How much do you value your mobility? For me, it was totally worth it and I regret not pulling the trigger earlier. Putting it on takes some getting used to. It's very well designed, but not necessarily intuitive. Review the instructions. Don't try to wear it to sleep and make sure you combine it with ankle PT & ice/heat. It took me a few months, but I eventually got back to running & hiking - at first with this brace on at all times to avoid reinjury. In the process, I learned how important it is to maintain good ankle strength/mobility + stabilizer muscles to avoid future injuries. If you have a sprained ankle, buy this brace ASAP!

Ich denke es gibt keine bessere Schiene auf dem Markt für Basketball. Haltet den Fuß Warm, stabil und ist ein perfekter Schutz für die Sprunggelenke. Ob sie dann beim umknicken genau so gut schützen, kann ich nicht sagen und ich hoffe das ich das nicht beschreiben muss, aber zuvor mit andere schienen war das immer eine katastrophale Verletzung.

Vorab: Dies ist meine erste Sprunggelenksbandage deshalb kann ich leider keine Vergleiche zu Anderen anstellen. (Mittlerweile habe ich beide, also links und rechts) Ich habe sie mir zugelegt, da ich in der Vergangenheit oft Probleme mit Bänderrissen und Dehnungen hatte. Ich nutze die Bandage hauptsächlich beim Tennis und muss sagen dass ich wirklich positiv überrascht war als ich sie dann das erste mal im Einsatz hatte. Sie fühlt sich ein bischen an wie eine 2. stabilere Socke. Wirklich super Passform, keine Druckstellen, und dafür sehr hohe Verarbeitungsqualitat und dadurch auch Stabilität. Ich möchte behaupten dass durch die Kunststoffteile, die übrigens wirklich genau passend auf den Knöcheln liegen, ein umknicken nahezu ausgeschlossen ist. Letzten Endes ist der Preis damit vollkommen angemessen, man bekommt ein super Produkt zu einem guten Preis.
