I must buy one of these every two weeks. I just love this fabulous tasty date syrup so much! Now that I have IC I can't have sugar anymore...So this is my greatest joy, and it keeps my sweet tooth happy!!😁

I used to buy date syrup from Trader Joes until they stopped carrying it. This syrup is very similar. I need it to make sweet potatoes edible. It is good on vanilla ice cream. Supposedly it has a lower a glycemic index than other sweet things, so sometimes I will eat a spoon of it rather than candy when I need a sweet snack.

Its so interesting how date syrup's flavor & color varies depending on where its grown. This one says its from Belgium, but its not really, its actually from Algeria. Its taste reminds me of sweet red bean paste & it has a red hue instead of brown, even carmelizes a little, especially in cookies. Its such a great value of ounces to dollars, will most definitely buy more regularly. Highly recommended as it IS a perfect food & my personal favorite! A must have!

First time every trying this and was surprised on the sweetness. I have type 2 diabetes and I'm trying to go with ALL NATURAL, non-processed items. This fit both of those categories. A little bit spendy, but I will deal with it. So far, its a great product. The package did not leak during transport. It has a honey-type consistency and texture.

I have been taking myself away from sugar as much as possible. Started using date syrup, it is a small adjustment. I have tried a few other brands. This is the only one I can in a 5lbs. container. I thought it was priced well and I purchase less. The flavor is a bit better than some of the others I tried. Unless you have a pour bottle, it does make a bit of a mess getting into your coffee or drink. I bought a 64oz. Ball jar container to keep it in and I don't have to store it in the plastic bottle it comes in.

As good as I hoped for. The packaging to get the item delivered safely was excellent. I will be ordering again.
