Whitmor Reversible Ironing Board Cover and Pad, Concord Turquoise, 54.0x15.0

I was looking for an ironing board cover with a fun print for the laundry room. This is sturdy, well made, and - well, I find it cute too!

I’ve used the cover very regularly for over a year. Forgot it was reversible; I’ve only used the side with the blue and gray stripes. Did not experience the blue dye coming off, and the cover fits perfectly (no bunching) even with a thinner cover underneath. I pad up because I hate getting burned cross cross grid marks from the ironing board! Overall, it did its job. Getting a new one because this one has become heavily stained with brown burn marks from my steam iron. The brown stains do not fully come off but some did today onto my stark white shirt. I am too afraid to use the solid blue side for fear of the dye bleeding.

Easy to put on!!

When I was searching for an ironing board cover, I thought this one was a little more expensive than I wanted to pay, but I also wanted to get a cute color/design to help me feel more excited about ironing (I'm not a fan of ironing). The other reviews were good, so I decided to go for it. Glad I did! I really like that the padding is pretty thick and it's sewn in, so it can't shift around like my old one did. It fits snugly on my standard sized ironing board, and it's very secure with the elastic band and Velcro closures. The color did turn out cute too (bright teal green). The only thing I noticed is that it's not completely smooth around the edges (slightly bunched fabric) but it hasn't been a problem yet. I ironed two shirts on it and it didn't make them crinkly or anything. It worked well!

This is so well made. I had to get a new one because my old one wouldn’t stay on anymore. This one has the elastic band around the whole thing that alone will keep it in place but then it also has two Velcro straps. It’s gorgeous AND reversible and just the right amount of cushion. I would have paid over $20 for it so being under $10 is a STEAL! I’d buy another one if I didn’t know this one will last for many years.

Just what I wanted. Color was accurate. Nice quality and thick cover!

At first it seemed like the cover did not lay smoothly on my ironing board which is standard size. But in time, it seemed to work its way to a more natural fit. It's attractive and does the job.

Due to tight packaging, the cover was wrinkled so that it didn't lie flat on my board. (See 1st pic) I put it on inside out and ironed it. To avoid trapping the tethers in the folded legs, I put the cover on when the legs were extended. (See 2nd pic) My board is only 4' long so I had some extra material at the nose. (See 3rd pic) This was easily fixed by tucking the extra material underneath the nose of the board. (See 4th pic) Now the cover is on and it looks great! (See 5th pic) I think the padding is perfect.

Read through a LOT of reviews before selecting this one. Came out of the package fairly shrivelled, but was easy to put on my 15x54" board, starting with the small end. Note that based on previous reviewers' comments, I did a reinforcement line of stitching all around the edging, and would recommend you do the same (stitches on these things are usually quite long and not that strong). Good elastic all around, and I liked that I didn't have to try fiddling with a drawstring. My previous cover had just one strap that got in the way of the legs so the board couldn't fully fold; this has 3 lengthy velcro straps that help snug the cover but don't interfere with the legs. Good thickness too. Happy with purchase.

I am a quilter which means I press during every step of the making. It means that some days it is being used for 4 or 5 hours. This cover is really nice and sturdy. It was a little hard to first get it on but once it is on, you won't be sorry you bought it. Love it
