Nimaso did a good job for a USB-C to 3.5mm converter. The quality of the product itself is what I would expect. Cable is flexible and it’s attachment to either end feels solid. I will likely be able to bend this item back and forth a lot before it breaks. In order to test it out, I grabbed a set of wired headphones and my Google Pixel 3a in a Unicorn Beetle case (see photos).There were no problems plugging in the USB-C part into the phone with the case on. My case has a weird bottom because I bought it used, so please ignore that in the photo. I opened up my music player and played a couple songs. The device instantly detected the audio connection was going through USB-C so nothing else I needed to do. Music played nicely and no static heard. In fact it still detected I had an in line remote so Google prompted me about that connection and offered a tutorial for using the assistant. However I was curious if there may be a sound difference so I started the tracks over and used the phones 3.5mm. It is hard to tell a significant difference at all but I think the USB-C was able to produce slighter richer sounds. My test files were 256kbs and 320kb MP3 files. Maybe there would be a more noticeable difference if I had a lossless format (ie FLAC), but I did not have any handy.Though the extra sound test was more of a curiosity, the product itself performed as expected. My android instantly recognized the connection, audio went through, and what more can you ask. I didn’t have to take off my case to use it so that is great.If you are in the market for a converter like this for your audio needs, I recommend this companies adapter. Lightweight, sturdy, straight forward use, warranty, and good quality. Also the price is right and you may get it on sale too.

This dongle DAC sounded great and such a simple solution for headphone use. Sadly, the usb-c connector was too loose on more than one device and would cut out on one channel or the other, sometimes entirely silent. They will need to improve the connector in future production. I also tried a different brand that has a solid connection with the same devices.I would have happily kept this one because of the high resolution feature...disappointed to have to return it.

After getting a Galaxy S21 and needing an adapter to compensate for the poor decision of phone manufacturers and them not including headphone jacks anymore, I needed something to let me continue to use my, rather nice, earbuds. This particular adapter worked great for about a month and then it mostly stopped. The problems really started when I was going for a lunchtime jog on a treadmill while listening to a podcast and the sound kept cutting in and out. Highly annoying. From this point on (about three days ago at the time of this writing), if I try to use this adapter and barely even bend it, the sound starts cutting out. Needless to say, I'm not terribly thrilled. I will give it 4 stars for the audio quality when it worked, but the build quality is substantially less than acceptable. If you need something where you won't be walking around with it, this could very well be an inexpensive solution for you, but if you're even moderately active, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.Edit (2021-10-13): I was shipped a replacement and have been using it off and on for about a week. I had one time when it was in my pocket that the sound started cutting in and out, but it hasn't happened at any other time, so it could've been a fluke occurrence. I'll keep using the new one and see how it holds up since the original one gave out after a month of mostly daily use.

I ordered this after I ordered a microphone that came with a usbc phono jack supplied the microphone did not work with my galaxy note 9 or S20 plus originally I thought the mic was faulty but then after reading reviews found out that not all usbc c adapters are the same so I ordered this one as it was mentioned to be compatible with Samsung and hey presto straight out the box it worked and so did the Mic that I thought was faulty the moral of the story is not all usbc adaptors are made equal but this one works for me and my Samsung devices.😊

As more mobiles are released without a 3.5mm headphone jack, these kinds of dongles and adaptors become more useful. Bluetooth 'phones are all well and good, but sometimes you either want the higher fidelity of a cabled set of cans, or you just don't want the hassle of charging your BT ear/headphones.This adaptor is just a perfect example of a simple thing done great. They just work. The quality is top class, they are durable, and I have full confidence that they'll last longer than the mobile phone I'm currently using.The adaptor was instantly recognised by my Xiaomi Mi9T, and they sound quality was just fantastic. The USBC port and 3.5mm plug were secure and tight. The braided cable looks as good quality as anything else in the market.Pleasantly surprised, and very happy with my purchase.

Does the job as stated but honestly after reading how the description tries to act like this will change your audio experience, it just won't.Pros:If you don't have a 3.5 jack on your device this is perfectIf your volume on wired headphones is too low this does boost it quite a bit duePretty nice build qualityCons:I own an s21 ultra and for headphones the output is already way higher than this device provides, it's outputs 24 bit 94khz while my phone natively supports 32 but 94khz output.I thought this could improve the sound on my Sony WH1000-XM4's while wired as they sound great wired but don't use the built in dac anymore as that's Bluetooth only. They make the audio much louder but I wouldn't say I notice a quality difference even when using high end flac files

Bought this after much looking for one that seemed like it would be okay! My daughter cannot be trusted with bluetooth headphones at all as she always lost one or both etc and her new phone needed an adapter for the old school style wired headphones! This has lasted well considering she usually manages to kill headphones extremely quick so there must be something good about this! Decent price also.
