Ordered two, but one arrived shattered. A replacement was sent very quickly, and I didn't need to do a risky return of the broken bulb (thank goodness!). Very greatful to the person/people who helped me out. Thank you!Been purchasing this bulb for some time now for a bearded dragon and would highly recommend it to others, as well!Just be sure to replace it every 6 months or so, as the UV output naturally lessens over time.Please note that this bulb is thinner/has a smaller diameter than the 24-inch bulb.Be sure that you have a fixture that can fit it! I have a "Sunblaster" 24-inch T5 HO (high output) fixture with a reflector. Works perfectly!

The box came all torn up yet the light was perfectly fine!

My local pet store does not sell this thinner tube. I’m so glad to have a place I can get it. Dragon has stayed healthy for a long time using this as part of the set up. I was using a heat bulb/uv bulb combo, but the $65 bulb wasn’t lasting more than a few months. I like that this lasts much longer for cheaper even though it requires a separate fixture for the heat lamp now. Well worth it. I wish I could find a cheap and accurate UV meter to know if this bulb truly lasts a year without producing too little UV. You will toss the light before the bulb burns out at a year to keep the UV high. I’m good with that. Much better than replacing a $65 bulb every 2 months.

First one that arrived did not work. Does not produce heat but works for the uva uvb dual light purpose. Second replacement worked

This light is what's recommended for bearded dragons. It is expensive anywhere you purchase it. It came in a huge box and packaged well, wasn't broken. It was easy to install, however I did YouTube how to install as it was my first time. I had a hard time finding out what size to get. I have a 30" zoomed hood, it fits the 22" bulb. Hope this information helps someone else!

Don’t forget to replace these every 6 months folks

I only use T5HO for my dragons..They need real sunlight for calcium (super important as they can and will get a deficiency and end up sick and or decrepit) and this is the closest light to it. Buy it and your reptiles will thank you..

EDIT- Carolina custom cages advised me they did not sell this product and the seller is a scam that they have reported multiple times to Amazon and there was nothing they could about it. Amazon did assist with me returning and getting a refund though. BUYER BEWARE “fast n fresh” is the seller NOT Carolina customer cages as stated in listing.Unfortunately I ordered a new bulb for my bearded dragons tank too early. As the return window has already closed (a week too late) even though I had not needed to replace the bulb as of yet. When I went to replace it today, the middle of the bulb would not light and it seems as though it had previously been used. I have emailed Carolina custom cages to see how well their customer service is, and will update the review as needed.
