COUGAR CF-V14S Vortex Hyper-Spin 150,000 Hours 14CM Silent Cooling Fan

150,000 hours is 17 years, so they should last longer than any PC, especially considering that most PCs don't run 24/7. I've built a number of computers with various sized Cougar fans, probably about 25 fans total & I just had my first failure. That's why I bought this one, aka the replacement. The failures build date was 2014/03/21 & it was a electrical failure, not a bearing; the fan still spins freely & quietly when motivated by a finger or compressed air. This one is working fine & I expect it will last a lot longer than the statistical anomaly.I've mounted most of them with the rubber thingies they include. They work well & vibration free & I've yet to have one fail during installation or service.Highly Recommended!

I Have used the smaller version of this fan for years and this is added to match a new case. They are all working like new and much quieter than any other fans I have used.

My prefered model of fan; shame their discontinued.

I like these fans alot.. Brought my computer temps down and I can't even notice their on at full RPM.The one issue is the rubber things they give to install them. Their rubber so in theory won't hear them rattle or vibrate. While using plies to pull them thru the case and fan alot of them just snapped and broke. Good idea but didn't work. overall, fans are very good.

They have no idea what they are doing. I have 4 of these. They are fantastic and had them for 5 years.
