Great Value
I just wanted a light to illuminate a darkened room so I can see what I'm aiming at, should I need to use my shotgun at night. This light does the trick. It's 90 lumens, so it's bright enough to light the room, but inexpensive enough to be quite affordable. Certainly, I have brighter LED flashlights, but they are more expensive that this light and the mount combined. It was easy to install, fitting perfectly on the ring mount rails, and seems pretty sturdy. I opted not to use the pressure switch, and instead, used the push button switch already installed. I was able to tighten everything down with the supplied allen wrench. I expect the supplied lithium battery will last a good time. Overall, a great value.

Great weapons light!
Impressive weapons light!I've used this now for a few weeks without any issues what so ever. The battery life seems to hold a good 9 hours non stop before it needs replacing. The brightness of the light is extremely efficient and has a very clear beam. What I mean by that is that some of my other rifles light have a yellow tint to them, this one is a bright clear light enough to light up at least 40 feet in front of you with about a good 160 degree coverage. The mount is made well and very light, has the Allen screws and it comes with the proper size tool to tighten it down.I've dropped it several times and no signs of loosening up nor lense coming apart.I even put the light itself in the sink full of water and it is waterproof, so if caught out in the rain your good to go.I'm gonna be replacing my other lights with this exact brand, no need to pay a fortune when this one works well enough. If you found my review to be of help, please click the "helpful" button below. It helps fund my Disabled Veterans Group with much needed supplies. Thanks and always be safe ;)

Nice, lightweight, simple to operate, and adequately bright (could be brighter)
For about $15, the Monstrum Tactical 90 Lumens LED Flashlight with Rail Mount and Detachable Remote Pressure Switch is a good value in a small, lightweight, no-frills light. I mounted it on a short cantilevered piece of MOE that I purchased separately and bolted to the polymer handguard of my Sig 556xi. The light mounts very securely and does not slip or wiggle. The light turns on and off easily, using either a simple push-button tailcap or a separate tailcap that connects to a remote pressure switch (both tailcaps are included with the light). I use the push-button tailcap since my light is positioned near the thumb of my support hand. The tailswitch turns the light on and off with a positive, audible click. At 90 lumens, the light is acceptably bright--certainly adequate for checking into dark corners for things that go bump in the night. It will easily illuminate about 80% of a 10' x 10' room to a brightness level that is more than adequate to see what is lurking in the shadows, yet it is not so bright as to blow out your night vision when the light is switched off again. I like that, as most "tactical" lights--especially the high-end ones--are actually too bright in my opinion. Yes, I want to be able to see what I'm doing in the dark, but I don't need the beam to light everything up like daylight or it takes an inconveniently long time for my eyes to readjust to the darkness again. (Anyone who has done a fair bit of camping and night hiking will know what I mean, which is why the best camp lights/lanterns have a very low setting.) Anyway, as long as you understand that this isn't meant to be a bad-guy-blinding Surefire light, you'll probably consider this light to be satisfactorily bright, albeit ever so slightly on the dim side. The beam's spread is quite good, albeit a tad yellow (which is not a problem, but unusual for an LED). Its reach is lackluster beyond 20 or 30 feet, so if you're looking for a high power spotlight to illuminate objects much beyond 10 to 15 yards, you'll want to look elsewhere. But for indoor or close quarters (trail/camp) purposes, this is fine.Given the low price point, there are no frills. The light switches on and off; that's it. No strobe mode. No high, medium, low settings. Frankly, I consider that a major selling point. I find it ridiculous that so many firearm lights have multiple modes. (It's fairly difficult to find one that DOESN'T have multiple modes these days.) Assuming I might use this in a high stress situation with a home intruder, I want something I can turn on quickly and predictably, without needing to cycle through a settings loop. I suppose if you're being deployed in a theater of war for an extended period of time, you might want a more ruggedly built light with more "features." But for home defense and trail/camp applications, what in the world do you need a "low" setting for? To read a book as you hold it at the end of your rifle? And yes, I know that strobes are supposed to be useful to "disorient" an attacker, but if I'm defending myself in my home, I'm either going to have to grab my gun and shoot with little or no advance warning, OR if I do have time to think and react strategically, then I'm going to barricade my family in the bathroom at the top of the stairs, call the police, warn the intruder that I'm armed, and shoot anything that tries to charge up the stairs to hurt my family. I'm not going to try to "clear" my house, hunting down bad guys while my light makes everything look like an impromptu discoteque.Yes, I'm being slightly facetious but surely you see my point. It's fine if someone else wants a more fully-featured light that can survive the apocalypse and perform in multiple roles. But if you're just looking for an affordable, lightweight, sturdy, simple to operate, and reasonably bright light to keep mounted on your rifle in case you need to use it for defense or to follow a trail at night, this is a great deal that should give many years of service. Only time will tell how it holds up to bumps against hard objects, rifle recoil, and humidity.

For Home Defense on a Budget
It is a light, not that bright, not that dull. I paired it with a "5 position shotgun barrel mount", feel free to type it into the "Search" if you'd like. All of this is attached to my Maverick 88 12 ga which I keep for home defense. I don't plan on chasing would be criminals outside of my house so I did not need the light to be very bright. It is bright enough that I am able to illuminate any of the rooms in my two story wide open house but not bright enough to mess with my night vision after I turn it off. It comes with a pressure switch also but I decided to keep it like it is. It is a light with a rail pre-attached, nothing fancy necessary. It is a one function light so no strobe effects or anything, just clean, simple, basic. If all you want to do is defend your home, this would be just fine. If you want to go hunting or chase the guy outside into the woods, grab something else for this would not be bright enough for you.

Decent light, bad mount.
*Update* I bought a wrench set that had the correct one I needed. As long as you have the needed tools yourself it will secure tightly. Maybe include one with purchase. The mount is not the same one that is in the promo pics. It also does not include the tools to install as mentioned in some other reviews. The worst part, the mount I received doesn't sit correctly on my rail. I tightened it as much as possible with a tool I already had but it was slightly to big. So although it won't fall off I couldn't tighten it enough to make the mount secure the light into a fixed spot. Therefore it's pretty wobbly and shakes when I move the rifle around. It's a bright light and works well beyond the mount issues.

Great Flash Light!!!
The Lumen LED Flashlight is great however, the pressure switch wasn't soldered well. It snapped after I used it like 20 times. I soldered it back on and now It works well. Also, the Valcro's Adhesive doesnt stick well to My equipment. This product is Great! I Just wanted amazon seller to know the solder needs to be more secure so it doesnt snap off...
