I received it and opened and it has a bad smell, I haven't try it but I hope it doesn't have a the taste I smell. I'll put a review after a week . well I started taking it with my coffee the taste come through the coffee, I can smell it and taste it like when you cooked a stake inside your home, burnt flesh. I don't think I can continue consuming it! I only drink it with my coffee or smoothies so I don't think that this is going to be for me. I'm a honest person and been buying products from Amazon for a very long time but I cant say a good review on this product.

This collagen is excellent, it mixes easily and doesn't have an overwhelming taste in my smoothies. The flavor is very mild, and I can mix up w/water and drink it plain. I take in the AM and PM and it helps with my joint pain and I've also noticed my skin looks better.

This collagen has a chalky taste to it. I'm not a fan of drinking it with water alone, but i do notice a difference in my skin, muscle recover, and energy when I use it. I normally with drink it with hot chocolate to mask the taste.

I received this product for testing and reviewing purposes. I have taken collagen in the past and powder is my preferred way to take it. I know the benefits of long term intake so I couldn't wait to try this product. I use only one scoop in my drink mostly because the container I received seemed to have been stored next to the cowhide and the product was so strongly penetrated with the smell. I had to empty the powder in a glass container and let the aroma air out for a couple of days before I could try it again. The product itself is very good especially in cold juice. I definitely couldn't drink it in hot tea or coffee (even though it dissolves better) but the scent was too strong and affected the flavor of the drink. I like the product except that it is a little over my budget. This is much better than taking 6-8 collagen capsules. If this is within your budget, I strongly recommend it, collagen is great for the skin, hair, nails, and joints. Like with any other supplements, please do research before purchasing.

This stuff tastes like three-day old roadkill smells.I've tried several ways of disguising it, including strong coffee, cocoa and peanut butter, without much success. There's always a disgusting aftertaste. Can't return it for a refund, and didn't get a response to an email to the seller. Bad experience all round.Research seems to show collagen works, but if you want to try it, I highly recommend a different product.And yes, I'm a customer, not a paid reviewer.

Buyer beware: Product pictures stated sodium was only 2mg, I was looking for a product with low sodium which is why I bought this one. Received product and label said 108mg sodium, false advertising AND product was past the best by date of 1-11-2018 when I received it on 2-25-2018

I have been mixing one scoop into my coffee every morning and it gives me an extra boost of energy that lasts throughout the day.PROs:- The information on Amazon and the product label is extremely thorough and helpful. AKEDA has a great understanding of the health benefits of the product and provided very thorough details of its potential effects.- The jar is larger than I was expecting so it will be long lasting. The jar says it will last 17-34 days, but I have been taking half the recommended serving size so it will last even longer.- It's only $1.67/oz compared to the other Collagen top brands, which is $2.05/oz- Very mild taste. In my coffee, I can't taste it at all- At 0g of Carbohydrates and 18g of Protein, it is a completely guilt free dietary additive that has great resultsCONs- When I first opened the jar, I could not find the scoop because it had been buried under the collagen powder. I took a spoon and dug through until I found the scoop. It would be helpful to have the scoop somehow attached to the lid to avoid this problem.Overall, AKEDA's Collagen Peptides is a great, 100% pure protein supplement that I would highly recommend!
