The box is made out of 3/8" thick yellow pine and is left unfinished so you can decorate it however you like or leave it like it is for a natural look. Perfect for our needs!
We bought two boxes with the white paint for the purpose of flipping them over and using them as platforms for our dogs’ slow feeder bowls. They work perfectly. The boxes are smooth, and good quality and the bottoms are painted too! Also, the edge along the bottom keeps the bowls from sliding off. Happy with purchase!
