Does no work with Echo Dot or Phillips Hub.
Another epic fail purchase. I have a Phillips Hub and an Echo Dot v3 (the latest, currently available version.) Could not pair this with Hue hub which is supposed to talk to anything ZIgbee. Echo dot cannot see this device. The instructions refer to a "green blinking" LED but I never saw a green anything on this plug. If you hold the button down the LED blinks either blue on/off or blue/purple on/off. No mention of this in the instructions. I have no idea what these indicators are. There is NO SERIAL NUMBER anywhere on these plugs, at all.

Zigbee is a secure safe way to automate your home.
When looking for smart home devices, your first step should be security. This plug will require you to have a HUB to control them but this means you have control over the connection and security of the device. Zigbee devices ( the protocol or signal ) I have used have always been reliable for me in my smart home for the last 5+ years. Connection of the devices to my Hubitat HUB took about 30 seconds and the plug was working and synced with my google home devices ready to be controlled by voice. In less then five minutes all of my Christmas lights were connected to my smart home and put into my lighting schedules for automation.** Note: Other devices that look like these but use WIFI, have awful if any security built in which could cause someone to snoop on your home network or even use them as a point of attack as well as over croud your network with devices. When building out your smart home think of who you are giving access to your home by researching and choosing your smart home devices wisely.

No frills, smart plug control that does the job
I was looking for something cheap to control my Christmas tree lights and another string of lights elsewhere in my home. This two pack of smart plugs looked perfect, and it was priced much better than buying two individually. They came with very easy to follow instructions. They explained how to connect to an Echo (Plus or Show with built-in Zigbee hub) and how to connect to SmartThings. I choose to connect mine to my SmartThings hub.The instructions were a little bit off in that it said that the LED would flash green when it is ready to be paired. Both of mine flashed blue instead. The instructions for the SmartThings menus has changed slightly since their documentation, but it was easy enough to figure out what they meant. Other than that, the device added to the hub like any other and was detected as an eWeLink plug. Once they were paired I added these new devices to my automations and everything has worked great. The LED appears to be always on. It is solid blue when the plug is off, and it turns to a solid purple when it is on. You can turn it on and off through the Zigbee controls as well as the physical button on the device. Overall, these plugs will fit my holiday lighting needs just fine. Please note that this smart plug is only rated for 10 amp (1200 watt), so it can't handle a full load on a normal 15 amp (1800 watt) wall outlet. This isn't a problem is you are trying to run a string of lights, but it might be if you are trying to control a space heater, air conditioner, or some other heavy load.

Work perfect with Smartthings
I love these inexpensive ZigBee outlets. Super simple to integrate with my Smartthings hub. No 3rd party app to install, don't need dedicated hub, don't require you to create any extra accounts.Simply plug them into an outlet, click the "+" icon in Smartthings, "Add device", then "Scan nearby" and they are automatically add to your devices. Then just rename and assign to a room, and they're ready to go. Best value I've found yet.I use mine to schedule a power cycle on an unmanaged network switch that drops connection to my devices after a couple days. With these outlets I am able to schedule an automatic off/on cycle at night when the network isn't in use.Pay attention! These are only rated at 10amps, they are not designed to run heaters or other high-load devices. However they're perfect for LED Christmas lights, room fans, or things of that nature.

Perfect with SmartThings hub; Great Value!
These smart plugs are perfect. They paired instantly with my SmartThings hub, and I especially like that the device handler offers a timer as well as a sunrise/sunset feature.I've been using two of these to control two bug lights for 3 months and they work perfectly. I just bought four more for Christmas lights.I love that these are ZigBee and not Wi-Fi. Anyone who puts a Wi-Fi smart home device in their house should know that they are 100% guaranteed to be hacked.

Do not buy
These are garbage! I have smart bulbs, plugs, devices all throughout my house from my coffee pot to all the thermostats in the house. I spent days trying to get these to sync with either Alexa or Smartthings; contacted the seller and they sent me the same instructions that didnt work. Please do not waste your money on these. You will end up frustrated with two dumb smart plugs.

Super easy setup and use
I wanted to schedule my interior Christmas decorations to turn on and off at the same time. These two packs were priced well and work perfectly. Setup with my Smatthings was quick and easy. The included instructions were okay and gave basic information for connecting to a couple different smart home systems. Most importantly, they told me what the name of the device was when I added a new device. Connection only took a few seconds and then I was up and running.I am very pleased with my purchase.

Simple, quick, easy.
Easiest thing I've plugged into my home network. All I had to do was plug it in, asked my Echo (4th generation with zigbee hub integrated) to discover new device, and after less than 30 seconds it was connected. Definitely a satisfactory product.

No software from company, no instructions.
No software from company, no instructions. Could not get them to connect to any software I could find. You would think they would supply a basic app
