My paring knife has no marking on it, but the Victorinox packaging says (on the back) it was made in Switzerland. Great little knife.

description says fibrox handle but the picture seems to contradict this...is this the case?

The Knife labeled, "Victorinox Swiss Army 3-1/4-Inch Fibrox Straight Edge Paring Knife, Black" which I purchased from Amazon has a polypropylene handle, not Fibrox.  On this page it is listed as being Item model number: 45508, but the item I received (twice) says 40508 on the sleeve the knife came in.  I am still in search of the, as of yet, elusive Victorinox paring knife with Fibrox handle which Cooks Illustrated described as:"Product name: Victorinox Fibrox Paring Knife, 3 1/4-inchManufacturer: Victorinox Model Number: 40600 Recommendation Status: Highly Recommended"The Amazon link at Cooks Illustrated brings one to the Amazon page:  http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000EYUDZE/?tag=cioequippilot-20   (Forschner 3.25" Paring Knife) which has no mention of a Fibrox handle, but instead describes the handle as, "Polypropylene handles is dishwasher safe."Amazon says it is working on this problem.

What is the model number of the Victorinox knife with the Fibrox handle ?   It is not the one on this page, despite what the title says.

I DO have to say though, in the picture for the set, the knives appear to have polypropylene handles. I could be wrong though...been wrong before.... Anyway, have a good day!
