These cables, angled the way they are, allow access to those ports Review: Beware of product description - The picture and description listed on desertcart is for a LEFT-angle SATA data cable. (There is a difference between a right and left angled SATA cable. If you own a relatively new DELL XPS computer you know the difference!) What was shipped by "Circo Technology of Walnut CA" was a right angle SATA cable; it matches neither the description nor the picture on the desertcart website. Beware of this vendor, unreliable as far as advertising and shipping the correct product.

Excellent choice for connecting HDD's in Corsair Cases
Excellent left angle connector, and I've used it on multiple builds. Locks very securely as well.

Sturdy!
Sturdy connectors. If you plan on sleeving these, then they'll look even better than what you see in the photo.
