Kal Ultra Lysine Lips Tablets, 60 Count

I had been experiencing what I could only fathom to be cheilitis and was using Aquaphor lip ointment to sooth it. This helped a lot but was only a band aid on the situation as I had stinging along my lip line and a red, almost blistering skin that would shift around on my lips constantly. It was very unsightly and went on for a several months until I realized it was going to be a truly chronic condition unless I tried to do more to heal it fully. So I looked around online and found this product. After less than a week of taking it every day, I experienced almost total healing! I have continued to take it consistently and only experience less than 5% of the discomfort I had been previously suffering. I will continue to take it for a total of 3 months and then see if I am completely rebalanced and back to normal.

This KAL product is a great source of lysine. Although the tablet is large it is shaped like a kayak and slips down the throat easily. This is lysine formulated with Olive leaf. No soy, no wheat, no gluten, no nightshades. This is one of the best formulations available. Have used it for over 5 years. No bad side effects. The only negative is that it is tablet form not in capsules and large however the unique tablet shape makes it swallowable. Highly recommend this product.

I like this product because it includes more than just L-Lysine. The tablets are big. That is fine with me. I feel that they help keep my immune system strong. That is just my opinion and no scientific basis for it. However, I have not had any fever blister breakouts since starting the product. Thank you Kal.

This product works almost immediately for me. If I feel that tingle on my lips indicating In am getting a cold sore, I take a dose and it is gone. I follow up with a few days of doses, just to keep it away. Great product with extra nutrition for the immune system. Lysine is a nutrient for nerves, as well! All is a company with a long history and good reputation.

This is the only thing I have ever found to help with cold sores. I used to get them really bad when I was under alot of stress, but I started taking these twice a day and I almost never get them anymore. Even when I do, they aren't half as bad and do not last long. The only thing that keeps them from having 5 stars is the taste and size of the pill. It is definitly worth it though!
