It just works, and your ears will thank you
I purchased an OEM alternative and had issues with the left channel. Slightly begrudgingly I purchased this cable at twice the price. It just works. It's amazing. It brought my iFi Zen DAC 2 and iFi Zen CAN Signature 6XX to life and sounds different to when using the RCA cables included in the iFi Zen CAN Signature 6XX. I think it sounds better with this cable. Cleaner? Crisper? Better fine-tuning when using the dials and buttons on the stack? The RCA cables provided a fuller sound to me which was very good but when I swopped to this 4.4 to 4.4 it just seemed like this was how the studios would want the music to sound - and yes, if you are still reading and wondering I would say that this cable produces a better sound. Enjoy - it's all subjective but this is a great buy if you are interested in audio and your ears won't be disappointed with this cable's delivery - that is FOR SURE! For that reason I gave it 5* value for money but a cable being pretty much half the price of an entire Zen DAC V2... doesn't seem to make sense to me. iFi can you explain - I'd love to know! :) Thanks for a great product.

Well made 4.4mm balanced audio interconnect
Perfect interconnect to connect an IFI Zen DAC to a Zen Can and hear the results of a premium balanced cable compared to an unbalanced one. It is pricey though. Beautiful looking on the outside. Good workmanship.

Quality cable, recommended!
Purchased this cable to connect my Astell & Kern sr35 DAP to the ifi Zen Can headphone amp via the balanced 4.4 connections on both devices. Expensive for a cable, sure, but you are paying for quality here! Very happy and would recommend!

Works well but expensive
I use this to stack an Ifi Zan dac V2 and ifi Zen can, works great but it does seem expensive for what it is. Didn't notice a great deal of difference between using this and the RCA's included with the can but I don't run a balanced cable to my headphones so that makes sense.

Make the most out of your Zen Stack
I have the Zen Stack and previously connected them with RCA cables, decided to get this balanced cable as I have balanced cables for all my headphones so I wanted a fully balanced setup. The biggest difference is the power through the balanced connection which you might perceive as being a clearer sound quality however its hard to A/B between the cables quickly but I do feel it was a good upgrade and the quality and look of the cable is very nice.

Dont try and be clever
Thought i was being clever buying a much cheaper balanced cable on amazon a couple of years ago " surely there isn't going to be any noticeable difference in such a short cable " finally decided to buy this as i just couldn't bring myself to spend £70 on such a short cable before.Difference is night and day especially at higher volume, another audio war crime to tick off my list...

Mine has gone faulty
Had this for just over 30 days and noticed today that it is giving me a bad connection in spite of being sat still on my desk since I got it. I'm using it to connect my Zen DAC and Zen Can, and if I knock the cable then the the volume in my left headphone fluctuates. Luckily I have a back-up since I made myself a homemade 4.4mm connector which I was using before this 'upgrade'. I convinced myself that the iFi sounded better when I first got it, but it definitely doesn't sound better any more!Disappointed that this seems to be poorly built given the (very high) cost. Unfortunately since I've had it for >30 days I'm not sure how to go about returning it.
