Peckish 60051245 Natural Balance Energy Balls 50 Box, Brown

I am very happy with these fat balls for the birds, they love them, the only thing l would say is some are broken inside because of the way the come in the cardboard box, or not handled with care, but otherwise l am extremely happy and would recommend this product to other people, well worth purchasing, great price too., The birds love them. Thank you, I am a very satisfied customer.

Awesome, the birds love them

Birds love them but not as good as others I have bought. Good many broken on delivery. Will choose others next time

I've had this item several times and it's always been a very good product and the birds love it. Good size food balls . I've got it on subscription as it's so good. The box is sturdy and never had a problem with the product. Full marks for the company and product. However on delivery this time half of the product is in crumbs. I feel that my package with other items has been banged about somewhat causing this issue.I will still be ordering this product as before. Usually 50 whole balls as described on box.Photos are this delivery.

A hit with my feathered friends. Devoured very quickly. Most balls arrived intact, a few smashed but not a big deal as i could scatted on ground for birds who couldn’t eat from feeder.————————————My Rating System————————————*opinions are my own and based on my own experiences and preferences*1 Star : Extremely poor quality product. I've had many of these boxes, birds love them but latest box arrived with half of them disintegrated. I'd like to share the response I had when I shared this with Peckish:"All our energy balls are tested during production to ensure their stability in varying temperatures. Once formed, they are kept refrigerated until packed, and a sample from each batch is retained and tested to ensure the balls hold their form at ambient room temperature. If a batch does not meet our standards, it is held back by our bird care team. However, extreme temperature fluctuations (such as heat or freezing) during storage or transit can affect the structure of the beef tallow, which is the binding ingredient. This can result in some crumbling, particularly if the product has also been subjected to rough handling."

The birds seem to enjoy them, but we’re a lot more expensive to the ones I normally buy locally

The fat balls were in a bad state, lots of them in pieces. Worse still, where bits have dropped they’ve killed the grass. I’ve used fat balls for many, many years and this has never happened before. Pigeons usually clean up the bits of fat ball but this has formed a layer which has gone hard. This was my second box but I won’t be buying a third.
