The product works great, once you get it working If you have the knowledge its a great cheap camera. If not you will be sitting with a fancy paper weight.

Tricky to setup - you will need Windows and ActiveX installed to change the settings, just do not allow your Windows to install other languages.The camera seems to be running Hisilicon Ipcam server inside with RTSP on 554 port by default - google to find details on how to setup and use. Camera has the DDNS enabled by default and pointing to MyEYE on dvripc.com domain.Software really needs to be improved to avoid ActiveX - you never know what it is contains inside.

I see all the negative reviews here and thought I would post some help.I almost gave up on this camera, but I came across two other cameras which are just rebranded version of this (or vice versa). Plug in the power cable2. Plug DIRECTLY into router (this only has to be done the first time then it will be set-up over WiFi so you can use it anywhere within range)3. Download the app MIPC in the app store (apple or android) or go to the website: [...] or [...]4. Follow the easy set-up instructions including password set-up (I'd recommend a very complex password)5. From there just start playing with it. The app and the website have all the easy to use options.The BIG thing I learned is that you absolutely MUST connect the camera to a router first. Then you can go in (hard or wireless) and set it up. Look for connected (or attached) devices that show up new in your router. From there, you can log into the web UI of the camera and make your changes.Download the app for your phone or PC there and follow the instructions.[...] --> seems to be hosted by Amazon[...] --> seems to be in ChinaDespite what some people have said, you don't have to use the hosted website (I think the camera has some sort of onboard DDNS service which registers it with some site in China). You can use it within your own network. Just assign it a fixed IP address in the web UI and you should be good to go.One bummer: There does not seem to be any way of figuring out what the stream URL is. As a result, I can't configure it in any other software or apps for monitoring. You have to use the web or the crappy mobile apps.Hope that helps!

Camera did not come with power cord. I will have to send back do not work.

Camera does not work. Tried every browser and tried their app, no connection. Only connection is to the landing page where it insists you install their activeX control and shows QR codes to get the mobile app. I installed their software and still no joy. There is a reason it is so cheap. IT DOES NOT FUNCTION. I will be requesting a refund. DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA.
