Received battery quickly. The battery matches perfect for my dell system. It's selling price was better than dell. It also includes tools to remove the back cover and battery.

fails in about half a year
easy to install, works fine initially, but mine fails in about 6 months. Just found out yesterday. Now without the power supply, my Dell laptop won't start. With the external power supply cord, the laptop will detect the battery as abnormal and restrict the frequency to only 0.8 GHZ. After login, the system will show the battery is 100% charged despite the fact that the computer will lose power immediately when I unplug the cord. Sad!

Absolutely No Directions
It came in a plain box and did not have any directions at all. If you've put a battery in before, you can install it. I looked up on you tube to confirm how to install in my computer.

Restored battery life to same as when it was new!
We have a five-year old laptop that is power hungry. We've had to replace the battery twice before. Again, it was lasting only an hour. After this new replacement battery, it lasts as long as when it was new (3-4 hours). This is a great battery I'd get again.

does not work to specification
battery does not perform to standards,properly charged battery but during use, when battery gets to 40% capacity it drops to 1% in the matter of seconds,tried all trouble shooting items but the battery still does not to capacity.would not recommend

Perfect & Easy Replacement!!!
I used this 6-cell battery to replace a 4-cell that came in a refurbished Dell 7740 laptop. Only took about 5 minutes to change out, and WOW! Battery life appears to be almost twice as long as the original battery... I couldn't be more pleased!
