Large International Airport Play Mat Item #HR2039

My little daughter loves this carpet as it was very comfortable to put your butt on. Overall, there's really nothing special but its really what its for.

This felt mat was a big hit with the kids on a trip. It weighs nothing and fits anywhere for packing. My only complaint is that the the buildings on the mat are hard to find and expensive if you do find them. That said, the airport terminal is awesome and putting it together was a nice activity during a down time with grandparents. It also came apart nicely for packing to go home. As others have noted, the stickers for the buildings don't stick well. I ended up taping several on to be sure we didn't lose them.

This play-mat was thinner than I expected but did have a nice layout for airport play. I bought accessories, which were to scale and fit perfectly, along with several airplane sets featuring jets, trucks, etc., all with airline emblems. My grandson loves it, and when he’s done, accessories go in a bin - mat folds up, stored, ready for the next airport run!Flights are never delayed!!! lol

My 5 year old son is always flying planes through the air. After the Disney movie "Planes" in the summer of 2013 debut, the air traffic increased significantly around the house. Got this mat as a Christmas gift along with some extra Disney Planes. It was the first thing played with Christmas Day. It is the first thing on the floor each morning and last thing to be picked up each night. It folds easily. Has bright graphics. Is not super huge taking up a ton of floor space. I think it is even washable. If your child is into planes of any kind, this is a great staging item to expand their imagination.

I agree with the other reviews about the fact that this is not a playmat. You cannot use it like a mat to live in the kid room.ALthough we really realli like it.After reading the reviews here I was decided not to buy it but the price is not too bad and our boy really love to play with airplane and ariport.He is 4 year old. The thing is he take the mat out when he wants to play with it and his planes. And it is really nice and easy to put away (with a play mat tha would be a big problem). But this way he can play and than put it alone away and that's it.He really loves it!we are happy too.

This is just what I was looking for. I wanted a play mat that I could take to the airport that folded up easily and didn't take up much space. It is a thin piece of felt with the roads printed on it. It is perfect for travel or even in your home if you like toys put away. It didn't slip at all when used at home on top of our rug. This is not one of those play rugs, so don't get it if you want that. However, if you would like something that you can easily fold up and put away or stuff in a bag this is the one.

I purchased for Christmas present for grandson and he LOVED it! He is a 5 years old and he received several planes and cars for Christmas. I was trying to make sure that it was large enough for all of his planes & vehicles (it was!). The only thing I suggested my daughter to do is glue it to some heavy cardboard so that it will not tear easily or lose its shape. He can then store it in his closet, side or under his bed or against the wall. HE LOVED IT! He will have a couple of years of imaginary playing.This is a great playmat and I highly recommend it.

I should have looked at other reviews and done more research before buying this item. I was looking for a play mat, this is a piece of fabric. I will have to have a backing sewn on because if this is left on the floor and the kids run across it it will slip right out from under them. DO NOT USE on hardwood floors, this item is for houses that are fully carpeted. It would probably cost me more to ship it back than I paid for it so I will keep it and try to modify it to suit my needs.
