Tagara (Indian Valerian) is only a mild relaxant, and it works as it should — with no side effects. It is not technically a sleep-inducing substance. Some people who have reviewed the product here say it doesn't work well — and yes, if you expect to be able to go to sleep with two tablets (as mentioned on the bottle), you might not get results. Also, for Tagara to work, other factors such as diet, time of meal, number of hours you worked, etc. should be proper. If you're using the product to fall asleep, you need to take a larger dose (disclaimer: I am not a doctor). The bottle also fails to mention that there are no side effects even if you take, say, six or seven tablets. Plus, the efficacy increases over time. Take the regular dose for a couple of weeks, and a large dose on days when you have trouble sleeping. You're likely to find that Tagara does work.
