I bought this knife for my boyfriend, and being unsure of what specific kind of knife he would want I was very pleased that this offered a no hassle money back guarantee in case anything was wrong with the item, or if he later decided that he did not want it. This gave me confidence in my purchase. The knife itself came in very secure packaging material and had nothing noticeably wrong with it. The handle is very sturdy, as well as the knife itself being extremely sharp. Although I assumed my boyfriend would use it more outdoors, we have found it to be useful in multiple ways. I would suggest this to anyone.

Good quality knife

This is a fairly nice knife. The blade is a practical design, nothing too crazy. The knife does feel sturdy and is quite heavy. The knife is clearly two pieces, the blade and the metal and PVC handle. Looking at the handle end of the knife, such as the 4th picture in the product description with the knife stuck in wood, you will see the blade runs all the way through the handle of the knife which should offer better durability.My knife did not come sharpened, the blade is fairly dull, but that's ok. The knife point is very sharp, though. The sheath is also a nice addition included with this knife. I am looking forward to taking this on my next outdoor adventure.The reason I gave this knife four stars is because of the PVC handle. I don't like the PVC material and know I have to remove the PVC and replace it with some kind of wrap, maybe some paracord. The texture of the PVC handle is squishy and slimy to me. The PVC is not completely firm and has some give to it which may give a better grip, but even holding the knife for a minute or two results in a greasy, slimy hand that smells pretty bad (I had to go wash my hands after...). The PVC material feels tacky and will leave a residue on your hands....and, well, it just feels gross holding it. This is the only drawback for me with this knife.I purchased this knife at a discounted price by agreeing to give my honest opinion as a review.

Boy do I feel like a Gumby I cut myself playing with my new knife. No not bad just a knick on the hand. First let me say the description at Amazon is right on target with the particulars so really no need to repeat what is already listed and you have already read. Where should I start, how about with the sheath? The fastener is ½ inch wide leather band with a standard snap closure. No great shakes and may last a couple years or not but it firmly holds the knife handle in place. The sheaf itself is a nice heavy but not too heavy canvas in a standard tactical black color. Single stitched seams with an enclosing border wrap. The knife is a stainless finish but not a high buffed mirror type of look. It also sports a well-balanced design and feels very comfortable in my hands. The rubber composite grips had some sticky residue when first removed from the box but now seems to be gone. The hilt of the knife is almost as if it was custom made for me because my hand fit perfectly up against it. The edge is very sharp and uniform with little to no pitting. There is a hole drilled into the butt of the knife and perhaps this is for a lanyard. The knife is void of country of origin markings, and only the word STAINLESS is seen on my knife. Some minor manufacturing marks and imperfections can be seen upon close inspection but none that would indicate a defective unit. All in all a very meticulously done knife that would make anybody happy to own and would be a great addition to any camping or bug out bag outfit. My family and I love to go fishing and camping. My husband always carries a knife with him when we go. There has been many times that I've had to ask to borrow his knife. So I decided to get one for myself. My first impression of the knife was "it's big"! After I got use to the size of the knife I love it. It came with a sheath, which is awesome. I love that the sheath has a loop so I can put it on my belt and wear the knife on my side. The sheath itself is really nice and seems to be well made. The knife has a nice weight to it. I like the handle. It fits nicely in my hand and is easy to grip. The knife is fairly sharp so I didn't have to sharpen it. I've purchased knives before that were really dull when I received them. So it was nice that I didn't have to sharpen this knife when I received it. I can't wait to take my new knife with me the next time I go fishing or camping. I would recommend this knife to others because it's a really nice knife. It seems to be well made. It's great for anyone who loves the outdoors.
