OGXSunkissed Blonde Lemon Highlights Shampoo, 13 Ounce

I had my doubts because I've used products similar to this in the past that claim to enhance natural highlights, but this shampoo really DOES bring out color in your hair!! After a week of using it, my mother in law said "There are golden strands in your hair. Have you been out in the sun recently? It's so pretty! They just sparkle." (I had not been out in the sun) It has a crisp citrus scent, and I am really enjoying it! :)

I don't love this as much as I thought I would, but I still like it, very much. If you want shiny golden locks, and to smell like a freshly poured margarita, then this is your guy! Personally, I prefer another shampoo, made by the same company. But this will be great for the summer.

I don't notice any real change. Probably just need to go out into the sun more. Other than that, it does a great job of cleaning my hair and smells nice to so... No complaints. Not super impressed, but I wasn't expecting a miracle anyway so I wasn't disappointed either.

My six year old daughter wanted to highlight her hair. Probably because she knows that I highlight mine, ( since I am no longer a natural blonde as I was as a child.) I was not on board with a six year old and chemicals. So I purchased this shampoo. She has natural blonde hair with light brown under tones in the back. Over the winter her hair turned almost all the way light brown. After 3 washes with this shampoo I noticed her hair was shining blonde streaks came out. I followed through with my regular conditioner, which is REDKIN sosoft. She loves her hair, it is defiantly blonder, brighter, and shiner . I also tried it on mine and it brought out the highlights, that I put in with foils as well as lightening my roots. I left it on my and her hair about 5 minutes before rinsing. I did notice on my neck a tingeing sensation, I am guessing its from the lemon, but once rinsed off it went away immediatley. My daughter with sensitive skin, never complained or noticed it. Over all I am very happy with this shampoo, but please use a high end "ultra conditioner" to stop the dry outs. Her hair and mine are blonde and look natural. She's happy and so am I, since I was not going to highlight a child's hair. Plus as a bonus I noticed both of our hair is easier to brush afterward. Win Win!!! :)

Does not bring out highlights very much and dries out your hair. Would recommend using the hydrating or original ogx and using sunin for highlights. Much better results without ruining your hair.

After three weeks of sun and shampoo there is no lightening anywhere, plus the "lemon" statement is unknown since there is no scent, much less lemon.

Enhances blonde color

so I love this stuff! the smell is amazing and this paired with OGX's coconut curls conditioner is amazing. It did actually lighten my hair a little when i used it over summer of 2016. It can only really lighten it if you use it within a few hours of going out into the sun.

This shampoo really does what it says! It lightens and brightens your highlights. Yes, it does leave the hair dry and unmanageable if you do not finish with a conditioner, so I highly recommend pairing it with a good conditioner. I don't think it can lighten dark hair, but if you have highlights or if you are blond, then it is perfect!

Sehr gutes Shampoo, trocknet die Haare nicht aus und macht die weich und geschmeidig.Es riecht sehr sommerlich und stark nach Kokus, hatte einen frischen Duft erwartet (wegen Lemon..) aber er riecht sehr angenehm und zaubert wohl auch bei schlechtem Wetter gute Laune.
