Great find.
For an inexpensive pen, it writes beautifully. Only problem, the cap doesn't post to the back of the pen. Not a real problem for me. A joy to write w/ light weight so you don't get tired if writing for a while.

Good starter fountain pen, great grip angle
I love the angles for the grip. I have been having a hard time writing with the newly developing arthritis and writers cramps, but this seems to help a bit! Also the blue ink color is lovely. No instructions on how to get the ink out, BUT, I will tell you that if you twist the grip part enough, the top (not the cap) will come off and you can flip the ink cartridge so that it is usable. I thought it was a genius move to prevent the pen from leaking in transport.

Looks strange, but writes nice.
I like the pen, it is pretty comfortable write with. The weird twist shape took a little getting used to when removing the cap. You can't just pull it off, you have to twist it while pulling. It is not always clear which way is the top and which is the bottom. Maybe a clip or a clear difference between the cap and body would help. The ink flows nicely using the included ink cartridge. It uses international standard cartridges, so one of my generic converters would fit it if I chose to use a different ink. Overall it writes very nicely for an inexpensive pen.

Easy grip for beginners
This is a really cute pen that is great for beginners forraying into the world of fountain pens: the grip is easier than Lamy for children or people with disabilities. Highly recommend at the price point. One detractor: the cap doesn’t sit fully flush atop causing it to come off during writing.

Cute, but uncomfortable to hold.
Let me just say, for the cost of this pen, it’s really not a bad pen... for the right user. Alas, I am not that user. I bought the Twist to try and get a feel for Pelikan nibs before I purchased a higher end one. The nib itself is pretty nice for a pen under $15. It’s pretty smooth and the ink flowed very well (I think my ink selection was a bit on the dry side, but I feel like that’s more the ink than the pen). As for its look, I think the rose gold/metallic pink look is super nice. Very cute in this color. The cap snaps tight, but when trying to open it, sometimes the section twists off the pen, which can be annoying, but wasn’t a deal breaker for me. I had concerns from the beginning that I may not enjoy the pen. The angular shape of the section (the place where you hold the pen) makes it uncomfortable to hold. So much so that I get distracted by it. I have a few Lamy Safaris/Al-Stars that I never use for the same exact reason, but on a less distracting level. I am a left handed underwriter (writing with the paper at an angle). I’m wondering if that’s the reason why I don’t like these types of pens or if I just prefer a more round (Cylindrical?) section. Also, one of the features Amazon asked me to rank after the overall was sheerness. “Sheerness?” In the 5 or so years of being a fountain pen enthusiast, I’ve never thought about or seen a discussion about the “sheerness” of a pen. Eh. Maybe something got lost in translation.

Super Smooth Writing
This fountain pen looks, feels and writes so smooth. I have a number of fountain pens and this one won me over so much that I had to stop using it and write this review immediately. It contains a large ink cartridge that I wasn't expecting and definitely appreciated. The medium nib glides over standard copy paper and doesn't pick up any loose fibers thanks to its even ink flow. I tend to use 28-32 lbs paper for my planner, so seeing its capability on copy paper made me happy.

Well made and great design and Geha tip.
I love the fact that now they use the old Geha tips. A must have for fountain pen enthusiasts!

The cap does not stay on the back of the pen, but ink the tip is great!
The logistics of getting this pen meant my overnight was two days late. Secondly, Pelikan is German made pen. Why the heck I have to pay a middle man to buy and mark it up is of no consequence to why the pen is good or bad. Now the pen; this is one of the few “Medium” tips I’ve purchased and I reall, love cartooning with it. It is smooth and forgiving in terms of sudden changes in direction. The grip is rather unique, but for my had the ergonomics work as intended, it actually gives one a lot of fine control. I also like the aesthetic of the “twist” design. What it lacks in flair it has in design quality. I’m fine that it is limited to cartridges, I imagine it does a lot to keep the price affordable The downside is largely and simply this: when you put the “cap” on the back of the pen the cap loses grip. This to me as a major blunder in the design that just does not make sense… That said for under $25.00 this was a solid value for the money

Must have for beginners
Unique design, the colour finish is great; Pelikan branding is seen on one side of the body and logo is available on top of the cap. The grip section is well placed and fingers fall in place. Medium nib is butter smooth and the ink flow is good. I have paired it with Syahi Brinjal purple ink, it suits the pen. Cons The pen doesn’t come with converter and one needs to shell out quite a bit for it, however, the cartridge can be refilled with syringe and needle.
