I know your vit c is produced in the usa but where is the vit c sourced?  is this a vegan or vegetarian product?  thanks!

We certainly appreciate your concerns and understand that you are a very big fan of another brand; however, I am afraid you might have a wrong understanding of liposomal technology.

There are two different liposomal technology, liquid and dry, and we use the latter one. Our encapsulated powder contains the phospholipids mixed together with the Vitamin C in a format which allows liposomes to form immediately upon the capsule opening inside the digestive tract. When the capsule opens in an aqueous environment (digestive tract) at body temperature the hydrophobic part of the phosphatidylcholine (PC) associates in a lipid bilayer (liposome) trapping the vitamin C inside.

They are quite similar in terms of being effective and having a positive impact on health. However, we used liposomal technology in dry a form because it has numerous benefits compared to the liquid form. For example, the liquid ingredients are subject to mold and bacteria. Also, the liquid form is much more expensive, should be kept refrigerated and goes bad quickly, especially during summer seasons. So we tried to make something more practical and economically viable for everyone. Also, many LIQUID forms contain ALCOHOL and SOY Lecithin.
