Question 1

Does Vitamin Code make a vitamin for under 4 years old? My son is almost 2 years old.

Accepted Answer

I don't think they do. I started giving my son this vitamin when he was around a year and a half and I would break one bear in half. Now that he's 2.5, I give him a full bear. The serving size is 2 bears. They are pretty easy to chew and easy to break in half (you won't need a knife). Hope this helps :)

Question 2

What is the source of folate? (folic acid? folinic acid? methylfolate?) thanks!

Accepted Answer

Our Vitamin Code Kids contains Folate and not Folic Acid. The Vitamins and Minerals that are in our Vitamin Code products are in a Whole Food form, made with RAW Food-Created Nutrients. The RAW Food-Created Nutrients in our Vitamin Code formulas enable the natural recognition of nutrients by your body, just as nature intended.I hope this helps. :)Thanks, Noelle K. Garden of Life

Question 3

Do these contain the safer, easily utilized, methyl versions of the B's (folate/B12)?

Accepted Answer

Hello there, Green Girl, The Vitamin B-12 in Vitamin Code Kids Multi is delivered in Methylcobalamin form. Our Folate is in a whole food form, as it would be in Folate coming directly from food; however, it is not labeled as methylfolate. I hope this helps! Thanks, Noelle K.Garden of Life

Question 4

Does this contain soy? I know sometimes citric acid is sourced from soy.

Accepted Answer

While none of the ingredients in the product are derived from soy, because we do not test the final product for the presence of soy we are unable to give you an absolute guarantee that it is Soy Free. (Unless we test a product specifically for the presence of soy, we do not label it as such and therefore it cannot be relied on to be Soy Free.)

Consumer safety is of the utmost importance and we take this responsibility very seriously.

Vitamin Code Kids is Non-GMO Project Verified, Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Dairy Free.

I hope this helps.
