How are the plates fixed to the back of a tile?

Can either use tile adhesive, no nails or even nail through little holes

What is the maximum weight of tile this system will safely hold?

I am using them to hold a 700mm x 250mm porcelain tile prob ways about 1kg or possible a little. The weight that the magnets can hold also depends on where u place them, the closer to the edges means you have maximised the span which gives a firm hold. I believe the magnets should be able to hold about 3 to for 4kg. What about that for a little more detail. 😊
